I completely agree with everyone else! I used to LOVE catalina but the new stuff is just plain AWFUL!!! I've been trying to find a new dressing that I like but I just can't! I've concluded that the only solution is for kraft to bring back the old catalina!!! PLEASE!!!

It was for Taco Salad, but with all the negatives on the catalina dressing-don't use Krafts.

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 head lettuce
1 (8oz) bottle catalina
1 bag dorito chips
Brown hamburger, drain--let cool. Combine ground beef and 1/2 bottle catalina. Just before serving combine tomato, lettuce, cheese, beef mixture, doritos, onions and rest of the dressing.

Just like all the other people taking the time and effort to subscribe to your site, I want to know why Kraft has decided to change all their recipes. My main complaint is about Catalina salad dressing. However, I see from all the other message boards that changing recipes is something that Kraft is doing across the board. What is wrong with you people here at Kraft? Are the people you are hiring in your "test" kitchen all lacking taste buds? And the bigger question is: Do you listen to the consumers that buy your products? Apparently not, because everything I have read about the "new" Catalina has been negative and Kraft hasn't given any indication that it will change the recipe back. I, like many others, will now be spending my money on brands other than Kraft.

Why in the world were the ingredients for this dressing changed? For years our family has used Catalina and have demanded it so much that we would take our own bottle with us to restaurants that didn't offer it. Please bring back the original recipe. We can not handle the new stuff. At first I thought it had to do with medical reasons that it tasted so different, but then my daughter tried it and said it burned her mouth and wondered what was wrong with it. At least now I know I'm not crazy. Hopefully Kraft isn't either and will bring back the orignal great Catalina.
