I know that with a lot of recipes they've got the ingredients down to a science and I am just afraid of having too much flour if I use the dry bp mix or not enough flour if I try to substitute some of it with the dry bp mix.

I was trying to help you before. It's really hard to give input without knowing what you are after.

I think everyone is losing context of my question.

I do not want to substitute the banana mix for the bananas.
The bananas are still in the recipe. I just want to change it up a bit. Doesn't anyone ever get tired of fixing the same thing the same ole way? I thought that was the whole point of this thing...To get new ideas from other people who have experimented or tried recipes relating to the subject.

I have a wonderful banana bread recipe that I wanted to try something new with.
Has anyone tried this or even have a banana bread recipe with dry banana pudding mix added to it?

I try not to eat any fresh foods, especially fruits and vegetables, because of the obvious health hazards they present.

I have never thought about using pudding mix instead of bananas to make bread.

You might be on to something great, emma-1982

Why not just add a fresh banana? Or are they infected with e-coli now?

So you want to substitute part of the flour with artificially-flavored banana pudding mix in banana bread?

Why exactly? What are you after in terms of taste and texture?

OK maybe not a kick but surely someone understands what I am asking.

The chocolate is a great idea! I have already considered that and really like it. But all I am really trying to acheive are the correct measurements for my flour so that I can add a dry mix of banana pudding to my bread. Is this possible? And if so does anyone have any ideas?

Eemma, You could do so much with this idea! How about chocolate pudding mix for choc-bananer bread? Yummy!

I don't get how pudding mix would give bread a kick.

How about making banana bread pudding?

I know...I know...I shouldn't mess with a good thing, but I just gotta!
