Original Philly Cheesecake:

Ingredients:
***crust:***
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tablespoons margarine -- melted
***filling:***
24 ounces cream cheese -- softened
3/4 cup sugar
5 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 eggs -- separated

Directions:

crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs and margarine. Press onto bottom of 9" springform pan. Bake at 325 F for 10 minutes.

filling: Combine cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon peel, and vanilla, mixing at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Pour over crust.

Bake at 300 F for 45 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.

Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 275 Calories; 21g Fat (67.5% calories from fat); 5g Protein; 17g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 93mg Cholesterol; 221mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1/2 Grain(Starch); 1/2 Lean Meat; 0 Fruit; 4 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.

Serving Ideas : Garnish with fresh fruit or cherry pie filling.

Cheesecake

Help me I am looking for the recipe for Philly cheesecake that was on the cream cheese package in the 1970's my mom used to make this all the time but I can't find the recipe now ....it was no bake and had lemon jello in it and a graham cracker crust...please help wanting this for the holiday season!!!!!!!
