Great idea, I hadn't thought about an electric skillet.

:) I would cook the chicken fingers in the morning.Lay them out on towels and let them cool. Then when you reheat them uncovered. If there is the space a hot plate and deep skillet, electric skillet you can cook chicken tenders in a snap, then they are hot and crisp. Make it a party and have some one bring the salad.

I agree with Eemma on both counts. I like cold chicken but my DH doesn't so I heat his up in the toaster oven. I don't think the microwave works very well for heating up meats.

I have found that reheating in the microwave makes things soggy instead of keeping them crisp. Why don't you let them try them cold? Cold fried chicken is on of my favorites!

Welcome to the community cherokee. =)

It shouldn't be a problem, though sometimes reheating will make things rubbery depending on how you cooked them.

Good luck!
