I also have noticed the change. Didn't it used to have "made with real lemon" on the label? It has been the only mayo I have used in 51 years, a family tradition.

That lid on the new containers pops open on it's own in the fridge. Great for absorbing odors.

Please Kraft, give us back what we love and bring the old glass jars with the twist off lids!

I too,had to stop using Kraft Mayo, the new and improved formula was terrible. They should certainly take the word REAL out of the name of it. It is no longer REAL MAYO. I have switched to Hellmans. I would rather pay a few cents more for the jar than for them to change the formula.

It seems they are defeating thier purpose, they are loosing more money since so many people are no longer buying thier brand.

Thank God for Hellmans.

No it's not in your head. I have used Kraft Mayonnaise for over 30 years. Needless to say I "had" family recipes that were built around that product. I told my husband for months that something was "wrong" with the taste. I finally called Kraft and was told that the company was under new management and "yes the recipe has been changed because their customers wanted a sweeter taste". Well I don't know which customers were asked - certainly not anyone on this discussion board! I agree with others here - it is AWFUL. After taste testing several products I have switched over to Hellman's. Granted - it isn't Kraft but it came closer to the taste and consistency of the "old" Kraft than any other product. Too bad the new company felt they had to put their "mark" on the business by changing the original recipe. It didn't take long for them to ruin a good product.

i'am glad that I came across this post, I was thinking it was just me?:|. I noticed that is thinner then it used to be. And all of you are correct, it dosen't have the same taste. Imake my home made biscuit with mayonnaise and used to prefer Kratf's, but i don't use it much anymore. It also seemed like it saltier then it was? Your right, why do they mess with a good thing?X-( "If it an't broke, don't fix it"!!!! annaskf

I am reading more on how Kraft has changed their products...I am furious that you changed my childhood memories by playing around with my Miracle Whip. It was good for my grandmother, mother , me and my grown children. What is about you young money grubbing executives that you change things for your own benifit not for the customer. You disrespect those tried and true things that are left for us to hold on to. The "NEW" Miracle Whip stinks. It has an awful taste overshadows the good food and leaves an awful after taste. Just like Coke you never learn do you??? well I am going to give up all Kraft products in protest. Get out of the window corner office you jerks and leave AMERICAN PRODUCTS that work ALONE !!!!!

After reading the posts on this message board, I now realize that the ONLY mayo that our family had used for 50 plus years had changed and it is awful!! My 85 year old mother kept saying it wasn't "sticking" to her Waldorf salad anymore. It seemed to have lost its taste and is very watery. This week I bought my LAST jar of Kraft mayo. If I am going to waste calories on mayo I want it to be worth the waste! I guess I will be trying out Hellman's or Duke's mayo. True Kraft mayo fans know the difference and we don't like the change. I would rather pay more for a product I like, than pay for something that taste like I am wasting my money. NO MORE KRAFT MAYO FOR MY FAMILY

I agree. The new stuff is terrible. I buy Hellman's now.

If they monkey with Miracle Whip I'll never buy another Kraft product again!

Until today, I was thinking that my surgery had somehow changed my taste buds and the taste of my so well loved Kraft Mayonnaise changed to a sweeter - watery Mayo. Because it was on sale, I bought a jar of Dukes Mayonnaise today and LOW AND BEHOLD. . .it tasted like the old Kraft Mayo did!! WHY IN THE WORLD DID THEY CHANGE THE RECIPE! It tastes horrible! It's very watery too. . not thick like it used to be!!

My mother used Kraft Mayo and I have used it all my life! For 55 years!! Sad to say. . .I won't be buying it anymore!! I'm changing to DUKES MAYONNAISE!!

KRAFT. . .YOU MADE A HUGE MISTAKE CHANGING THE RECIPE!! HUGE MISTAKE!!!

Kraft Foods has a long history of changing products (not for the better) and then letting the consumer find out the hard way.

A call to Kraft results in a form letter and coupon, for the very same item you wouldn't purchase again anyway.

BOYCOTT KRAFT FOODS!
