Hi IanM,
Welcome to the message boards! I had my colleague in the Kraft Kitchens test this recipe using Fat Free 1/2 & 1/2. The result was a very soft set. She does not recommend substituting fat free 1/2 & 1/2 in this recipe.

Hi LaniM, I've never made that,but, if the recipe needs that fat to come out better, cutting fat would change the texture, if not then it might change the taste some, however if you've never eatten it with the 1/2 and 1/2 then you wouldn't know the taste difference. Try it and see,:).. annaskf

substitution?

I would like to try the recipe for Frozen Pudding Tortoni which calls for 1/2 and 1/2. Because my husband and I are watching our fat intake could I substitute that for the fat free version of 1/2 and 1/2?
