Kraft is kind of determining what Whole Foods sells if Whole Foods choses not to sell Kraft products. I think Whole Foods is a little snooty. They would make more money if they sold kraft products. Maybe Kraft would rather not have their products sold in Whole Foods because they are happy with the way things are. Also, Whole Foods has a hot and cold buffet and maybe Kraft does not want any lawsuits if people burn themselves or get sick. Whole Foods probably doesn't care so much about that and wants to sell natural, expensive things and have buffets. I don't really have any answer for this question, but I hope maybe people will think out of the box.

I think a lot of people tried to explain it to her many times... pretty much saying exactly what you did. In the long run, KRAFT doesn't determine what WHOLE FOODS sells. This should be a question directed to WF, not Kraft.

For goshsakes why won't anyone give this person a straight answer?
C. Alis, the reason Whole Foods doesn't carry Kraft mac and cheese and South Beach entrees (or any Kraft products that I know of) is that they contain ingredients that Whole Foods considers bad for you.
They think the chemicals and preservatives in Kraft foods as well as many other food manufacturers' products to be unhealthy so they refuse to carry them.
It doesn't mean you shouldn't eat Kraft products or other products with those "bad" things in them. I do! But I agree that maybe they should be eaten in moderation along with with fresh, wholesome foods.
I suspect that you have never been a Whole Foods customer before. Try looking around and seeing the types of products they carry. They do have a lot of frozen entrees.
You could try a whole foods product like a salad along with an easy mac for lunch -- one WF and one Kraft -- and see if you like it.

Hi C. Alice, Thank you for your interest in South Beach and Easy Mac! Although these products are sold in different parts of the country, please understand that the decision to carry certain products is based on each chain of grocery store's individual decision makers. I recommend that you visit the product locator section on our website to find the nearest store location that carries these products.

Variety is synonymous with the South Beach diet. I was thinking of trying it, but then decided I don't want to diet. The food looks good though.

What exactly, D. Kay, has made you so attached to these 2 particular products? Would you perhaps be open to trying other items that might be available at the WholeFoods that seems to be conveniently located to your work place?
The ingredients that are included in processed foods of any kind, are not terrible as an occasional meal, but any food eaten over and over again (without variety) isn't healthy for our bodies.

Why not ask Whole Foods? Whole Foods determine what they sell, not Kraft.

I did not say that. I simply stated the ingredient in South Beach products are not accepted at the whole foods store.

Here is link from the Kraft Foods website. It listed all the ingredients of the South Beach foods. They contain preservatives, artificial colors, etc., of which Whole Foods will not sell. Nobody says they are poisonous! They just aren't natural or organic products!

Here is the awnser directly from the whole foods website: http://wholefoods.com/products/index.html
South Beach diet foods may also have an ingredient they don't allow in their stores: http://wholefoods.com/products/unacceptablefoodingredients.html
Edit: I compared the south beach frozen meal ingredients with the "unnacceptable food ingredient" list from whole foods. South Beach foods contain potassium sorbate, which Whole Foods will not buy foods containing this ingredient.

C. Alice, if you take a look at Whole Foods website you'll have the answer to your question. Whole Foods doesn't sell anything that contains preservatives, etc. They are dedicated to selling locally grown, organic foods. Hence their name - WHOLE FOODS.
