Hello Kraft Community, we are very excited to share some great news with you. As loyal Kraft Community members we have heard your desire to do more fun things in the community and we are happy to announce in January 2010 we will be making some changes so you can connect and share food ideas in more ways than ever!
We want to let you know we will not be transferring the existing discussions to the new enhanced message boards so if there are discussions that you would like to save please make sure to either print them or copy and paste into a document that you can save to your personal files.
We will remind you again before the transition occurs but wanted to let you in on the exciting news!!

I was right all along.
There are more moderators than just Pam.
I think that's why so many posts have been removed for no reason at all.
Pam, I really think you should get the moderators together -- by phone if need be since you probably are not physically located in one place -- and have a discussion and come to some agreement about when and why to delete posts.
And then revise the "standards" so that we can all be treated the same.
As you can see, the way the message boards have been maintained recently is a cause of concern to many members of the community. I urge you not to threaten to "lock" this thread but LISTEN to us about what is and isn't working here -- that's key to improving the message boards instead of driving your loyal contributors away.
Thanks for listening

I thought you were the moderator, Pam. Are there others too? Or are you just like the president of the Kraft moderating wizards union. Apparently one of your other moderators got a little too trigger happy with the delete button. I hope they get a stern talking to from Moderator Pam so it doesn't happen again.
And I'll take your chocolate if you want.

Pam, I'm sure everybody appreciates your response. There was one message board in particular that was deleted and only had recipes in it. It was from somebody needing easy breakfast idea as there was a contest coming up at work, kind of an Iron Chef thing. Lotti, Cheddar and myself posted some really good recipes for her. Nothing out of context or off the subject was posted yet the entire board was removed. And this isn't the only instance, just one of the more recent ones. Is there any way at all that this board can be retrieved? It would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I can see why you are upset when a recipe that you have spent time on copying to the boards gets deleted. I can't think of one time the moderators intentionally deleted a good recipe or discussion unless it was attached to a post or thread that violated the board standards. Once again, I would like to remind you that if you reply to a post directly and that post is in violation, the replies will auto delete with the post.
Kraft Foods provides this message board system to allow the free and friendly exchange of ideas and recipes in relation to their products and food in general. When things get off topic, abusive, or violate the standards, then the moderators will delete the abusive post or thread. We also move things around sometimes to keep the board orderly.
The message board system in place does not allow for editing of a post to explain why it was deleted. Nor is it currently set to email the poster with an explanation. I will be bringing these items up for discussion and maybe we can find a solution.
Personally, I love to have the topic of discussion move back to food and stop dwelling on this topic and I really don't want to have to lock this thread. Shall we give it a go and see what happens?
Now, anyone want a piece of the Mother's Day chocolate I received from my kids yesterday? I love the stuff but my hips do not

Great Idea!! I'm gonna start copying my posts and reposting them on a "Save the Posts" thread when they are deleted..Since the mods seem to ignore any suggestions I give them to improve the board, I'll just keep them busy with that delete button...

A lot of the posts and boards that are being deleted contained many good recipes and were deleted for no apparent reason. That is why we are all upset. I too have learned many new things here. If you don't like the content of this message board then maybe you should stay out of it!

Please, People....Save the Posts! I applaud all of you who have undertaken this important effort. We must all stand together, now, in a concentrated effort to Save the Posts! We can do this while we're cooking, or not cooking. The Posts must not disappear! Does Kraft make Post Toasties? See, I knew this was an important project....Save the Posts!

I'm going to give credit where credit is due. It was I that started the SAVE THE POSTS revolution. And I thank you for joining the club!

I had a post that was deleted? I don't know why? I am a nice fella, I don't offend communities. Why was my post deleted? Is it because SalmonFella sounds like Salmonella? I am not a disease, I am a nice fella. Thank you for SAVING THE POSTS.
