Welcome to the community, Nibor83.
Your tip to contact Customer Service is definitely what you need to do, so thanks for posting.
A thought, though. You can make your own cracker meal by taking your favorite crackers, putting them in a large plastic bag, and rolling the bag with a rolling pin - or grinding them up in a food processor.

Everyone that reads this should email Nabisco/Kraft and tell them to bring it back. I want to cry!! Cracker Meal is the only thing my grandmother and my mother will use to fry shrimp. Please, please email them and ask them to bring it back. Perhaps if enough people do they might consider it. you can contact them at

My sister buys the Golden Dipt Cracker Meal at Publix store in Florida, but out here in CA, none of the stores carry that particular Golden Dipt coating, but do carry the brand. My sister is also long-time Nabisco C.M. user and seems happy for most part w/the Golden Dipt brand, tho she says it is slightly different. We noticed its ingredients contain some oil, for instance, and she thinks it makes a lighter colored fried fish than the Nabisco did, but just adds some Old Bay to give it more color. So, it's an acceptable substitute.

I have used this product for over 40 yrs and wish we had been notified BEFORE it was discontinued. It is so frustrating to have such a great product and then not be able to find it on the shelves. Did some research and found: McCormick Golden Dipt Fry Easy Fry Mix, Cracker Meal, 10-Ounce Unit (Pack of 12) on Amazon.com. I signed up to be notified when it arrives. Don't know if it will taste the same but worth a try.

I am disappointed that this has been discontinued. I especially prefer it to coat oysters before frying. It seems to help keep them from being soggy & they taste so good! Corn meal & bread crumbs just don't taste very good. My Husband & I have gone to every store in Tacoma looking fo it. I've been using it for 55 yrs & my mom & her mom before. I sure hope they bring it back.

I did hear from them...this was their response:
Thank you for visiting http://www.nabiscoworld.com .
I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed NABISCO Cracker Meal.
It's great to hear from consumers who are looking for our products because it lets us know how much you enjoy them. The tough part comes when we have to share the news that the product you're trying to find has been discontinued.
If products don't seem to be popular with our consumers, and demand starts to drop, a decision is made to discontinue the item. Once this decision is made, we stop making the product and the remaining supply is shipped from our warehouse to the grocery stores.
At this time there are no plans to bring back our discontinued products, but we are always cooking up something new to help you live and eat better so you may discover a new favorite!
Again, thanks for contacting us, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy our products.

If you have a food processor, it's a snap, but most of the time, I just put the crackers in a plastic bag and use a rolling pin -- less clean up and almost as good for cooking.

Welcome to the community, Terri13th! Here's what I found: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamine Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Riboflavin [Vitamin B2], Folic Acid).
That's it, just enriched flour. Hope that helped.

The best way is to contact their Customer Service department. The more people that do, the more they understand how much an item is missed. It's no guarantee, of course, but it's a better chance than saying nothing or saying it in the wrong place (to friends, on these forums, to your grocery store manager, to mom lol).
