yes, you do fridge cream cheese. if you to leave it in open in the fridge, it is likely to mold rather quickly. if left out of the fridge, it will mold even quicker... this works with butter. butter being a dairy product will mold quicker than cream cheese. i think tablescrape was referring to margarine, which has a pretty much indespensible shelf life...

not sure what the recipe is, but if it involves cream cheese, i would make it the day of your event. unless you can cover them, then i wouldnt make it any more than one day in advance...good luck and have fun!:)

I don't think that you have to. It's like butter and you don't have to refrigerate that.

Question: Are we talking about eggs with the shells on or off? I don't think that I would want to eat the shells and my Easter eggs are dyed with the shells on.

What is the shelf life of easter eggs made with cream cheese? Using basic kraft recipe for coconut cream eggs, dipped in chocolate. How do I need to store them? Do i need to refrigerate them? How far ahead can i make them? And how long should they last?
