Hello Kraft Community, we are very excited to share some great news with you. As loyal Kraft Community members we have heard your desire to do more fun things in the community and we are happy to announce in January 2010 we will be making some changes so you can connect and share food ideas in more ways than ever!
We want to let you know we will not be transferring the existing discussions to the new enhanced message boards so if there are discussions that you would like to save please make sure to either print them or copy and paste into a document that you can save to your personal files.
We will remind you again before the transition occurs but wanted to let you in on the exciting news!!
If you have any questions on how to do this please contact Customer Care at Contact Us

> I am becoming frustrated because I feel that I am not free to suggest items because they are being pulled. So what are the guidelines beyond what is in that list.
The STANDARDS section contains the rules that need to be followed for posts to not be pulled. It's possible that posts that were pulled were misconstrued and not seen as holding to these terms, as we do have some specific guidelines of our own to follow as hosts.
But if you feel a post fully follows the Standards and was still pulled, or if you get a response as to why it was pulled and it gives a specific example from your post as to why it was pulled, please contact us again in this forum and let us know the time the email was sent to you so we can determine who was reviewing posts at that time and why they pulled it to see if it can be re-posted for you or not.
Also, as far as I am aware, you are permitted to mention any other products on here that you like as long as it doesn't sound like an advertisement (yes, ads or posts sounding like ads are not permitted per the standards) for them. It's one thing to say "I like 'such-and-such brand of soup' as stock for my recipes." It's quite another to sound like a pitch-person for another company.
I hope that helps!

Yes the general decision button is working. It was fixed the same day I noticed it. Thanks!
I also have another question while we are talking. I know I am newer to Community here on the main Kraft site. I have been a Kraft member for years, I just haven't posted to this site. I am becoming frustrated because I feel that I am not free to suggest items because they are being pulled. So what are the guidelines beyond what is in that list. I am also a part of 2 other Kraft Communities. I haven't ever had any problem w/ those Communities. I guess I am just a problem causer on here. Can you help lift the burden I feel I am causing?

Used to...if someone used the "reply" option at the bottom of a post it caused the edit option to go away for the post's author. Using the "reply to this topic" button at the top of the thread allows for posts to still be edited by the poster - even if somebody replies in the thread. I haven't checked it out lately to see if it's still like that.
I usually use the button at the top so posters can change their post. If for some reason I don't want them to be able to...I use the reply option in the post.

Is it working again for you? I wasn't having a problem when trying it this morning.

I'll pass it along. I'm not sure why that's happening, but it should be pretty easy to fix.

Okay, I have some news.
You can't edit if you have the OP, original post, and there are replies, so that explains why you're having problems in only that thread, carrie.
jen, still working on getting an answer about the link button, but it is flagged up there.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference when you make the OP or not. It's something I'll escalate upwards, see if we can get an answer, or possibly flag a problem.

One thing I've noticed happens to me, is that if I'm looking around the site, I sometimes get signed off. When that happens the edit and reply options disappear.
I also believe that Jen may be right about editing after replies are made.

Umm... maybe you are right. This is the only site that you can't go back and change the topic. I can on all the other sites that I use.
