It has Chicken breasts then rice with tomatoes mixed in plus cheese on the top. i love that it is so good i also love this new dessert i tried it was made by a friend of mine named desmin. she took a box of chocolate chip cookies and crushed them up and put 2 jars of peanut butter on them then covered them with hershey chocolate milk syrup. it was so good.!!!!!!

How about a jalapeno potato salad? It's yummy and creative. You can also make a Sangria in the slow cooker. I would get two slow cookers so you can make a kiddie sangria.

No, but it sure is fun to say. Say it out loud and tell me that's not the case. Chimichanga!
I like your idea too though.

Do you have a chimichanga recipe?
This is what I made for my son's birthday. I made 2 pans of the chicken enchiladas and everyone loved them. We also had chips/salsa of course and chili/cheese dip using Mexican velveeta and Hormel Chili no Bean and Philly Cream cheese in a mini crock pot.
Have fun!

I love cinco de mayo! You should definitely do make your own tacos! You should have an assembly line with all the fixins! Just for fun you should also have a pinata and mexican hats as party favors. You could also have a big nonalcoholic punch bowl. Also, it might be fun to make home-made jalapeno poppers (there is a link on this site). Oh, I wish I was going!

How about warming up some velveeta or chesse whiz and adding a packet of taco seasoning for a lovely, delicious dip! When I have a fiesta, I like to make a cute sothwestern themed tablescape by taking a sombrero and hanging dried chile peppers on strings from it. Then I hang the sombrero from my chandelier. It's sooo cute! Hope this helps! Oh- and if you have nieces and nephews, let them help!! A few cocojitos for Auntie Sandy are always on the menu as well!

The taco bar idea sounds cute. You could also have a nacho bar - small bowls of chips and different cheeses, sour cream etc to top them with.

How about a taco/burrito bar, and they can pick out their own fillings and toppings.
