That's why I do not eat veals. Plus, since they are scared, their meat is tuff.

I agree what if the children get stampeded or the animals try to eat them. Too risky, in my opinion.

This is certainly beginning to sound like a big, flashy party. Is it being held outdoors in a large enough area to accommodate all these attractions?
I don't know what the original poster is planning but if it's as big as this thread would suggest, I want to caution against a petting zoo. My congregation had one once and we learned how easy it is for dangerous diseases to travel from even the cleanest and best cared for animals.

Popcorn machines too!
In fact you could probably rent fryers to make corn dogs and funnel cakes.

You can purchase or rent cotton candy machines really cheap nowadays... What's a carnival without the sweet fluffy stuff? YUM

You can rent carnival rides and amusements. We always rent a dunk tank and a ring toss for the kids at our summer block party.

What's wrong with the posts?? I thought these were all great ideas...Where are there "sarcastic comments and negativity"....you need to chill and have a "tini"...
As for the Carnival Theme Party, don't forget the clowns..Everyone loves a clown..

I am so confused!
What did Mrs.L think was wrong with this thread?
I think the suggestions are great. I like the eating contest idea but I would love for it to be a pie eating contest becasue most people love pie and even those not entering the contest can eat a slice at their leisure.

Sorry that you don't like it here. I, for one, have not read any negative posts...... only uplifting ones. We all can use a little uplift!

I beg your pardon? What sarcastic or negative comments are you referring to? Everyone contributing to this thread have been giving great ideas to the OP about this Carnival theme. I re-read all the responses and don't know what you are talking about. Geez, you are the only one being negative here

I am really having a hard time understanding some of your posts. Do you not want this board to have useful information or would you rather run off potential new posters with your sarcastic comments and negativity? This could be a great place to find useful information for parties as well as everyday supper ideas, but you folks are something else.
Admin - you can close my user name here. I'm through with this message board. Thanks for a great website.
