How many people? Will you have a cooler or refrigerator?

If you are OK with simple recipes......
My kids like Hamburger Helper when we camp - it's an easy one skillet meal. Pick a box that only needs hot water added. You can brown the meat ahead of time, then freeze it & bring it in a ziplock baggie. it'll keep in the cooler longer that way.

Another favorite of the kids is a bit expensive, but good. I buy those preseasoned flash frozen chicken breasts, frozen seasoned potato wedges, and a package of frozen green beans. Fry the chicken breasts in one pan. Toss the beans & potatoes in another pan to warm up. the potatoes are supposed to be baked, but are OK heated up in a pan.

Kids are also happy with simple things, like hot dogs :)

For breakfast, bring hot cocoa mix for the kids (make sure its the add only hot water kind!). There are pancake mixes that only need water added, as well as instant oatmeal.

Our family is going camping for Labor Day. Does anyone have any easy recipes that can be prepared ahead of time? I will have access to a two burner stove. Thanks:-D
