The Entertainment Books are usually around $25 at the beginning of the year (which is November for the EB). You can get it cheaper and cheaper as the year goes on but getting the free 2009 book might make it worth it. It just depends on what you want.

Another good place to get restaurant coupons is www.couponclipper.com. These are usually coupons for local restaurants that you won't generally find at places like restaurant.com, though it does include chains sometimes. For my area, when they have restaurant coupons, they usually have quite a few.
It's the online version of the Savvy Shopper magazine and/or Clipper Magazine that is usually sent in the mail once a month or two.
And don't forget www.moneymailer.com. Not as good as the CouponClipper site, at least for me, but it's another place to look

Yeah I forget too! The movie tickets really make it worth it though and are pretty much the only way we can afford movies!

Those are always a great deal... if you can remember to use them >.< I know my weaknesses and I know I am forgetful, so I never buy them, because I ALWAYS forget to use them.

Hey--I just saw that Entertainment Books are--Get a free 2009 book when you buy a 2010 book. That's a great deal if you already know you want the 2010 one! There are really great coupons in the books for restaurants and movies and stuff like that. This year there were even some totally FREE coupons (get something for free with no purchase necessary).

I have used several coupons also. I have gotten $50 for $25. As a side, I got $50 for $25 for my hair salon too.

Go to the restaurant's website and look for an email club. Most sites will tell you what you get when you sign up for the email club and most of them include coupons, promotions, etc.

This is not coupons from restaurants, but it is really great. I joined restaurants.com. No fee to join. You can purchase discounted gift certificates for quite a few of your local restaurants. For instance, you can get a $25 for $10 dollars. (when was the last time you got a $15.00 off coupon!) If you get on their newsletter, toward the end of the month they offer discounts on the certificates. (up to 80%) I have bought several $25.00 certificates for $3. I have been using them for over a year now. Never have had anything even close to a problem either with the certificates, or with the restaurants that I have used them at. I use them to try new restaurants and go more frequently to some of my favorites. They even link you to the restaurant so you can see the menu.
