Sadly, no amount of "wip topping," as you call it (much to my amusement, I might note) will render this product suitable for human consumption.

That's a great Idea jacquelineb. Although the product is touted as ready to eat, I think Kraft intended for us to make/eat the chessecake at home and not in the dairy aisle.

I made a cheesecake with the Cheesecake Filling. It was not that good at all... I rather do it from home instead.

Some LiveActive cheese would probably speed up the digestive process :-D.

Does that mean in 25 years, her grandchildren's colons will start to digest it? They need Dr. Natura for sure.

This happens to be a favorite of grandchildren and son-n-law. They put it on bagels ,cinnamon toast, and a dollop on a piece of pie. For our Christmas brunch we put on slices of pound cake and added a spoonful of homemade strawberry freezer jam, it looked festive and everyone ejoyed. We have found it to be a quick and easy solution to the fast pace of every day living. Agreed not as good as homemade ,but when you want to spend quality time with family you can forgo the hours spent preparing treats once in awhile.

As Rachal Ray would say "Yum O"
Easy, easy, easy. Get an already made graham cracker crust and thats it. If you want, add mini choc chip, or choc syrup or hot fudge and take a straw and make designs in the cheesecake filling.
It sets up, but not like you think.
Go to the recipes and look up Double Layer Pumpkin Pie, very easy to make and its sssoooo ggggoooooddd! Also, a couple recipes for Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake. They look very easy too, haven't tried them yet. Good luck, I'm going to bake the Dbl Lyr Pumpkn pie.

It's ghastly artificial processed food. It tastes horrible.

I've used it many times and everyone has raved about it. I just add a little extract to it to get rid of the store bought taste.

A friend tried to serve it at a dinner party. She knows how much I love cheesecake. When she told me what it was I passed. Her cheesecake didn't set. It was like pudding.

It's better to go homemade. There are some really easy recipes on this site. I always use them for holidays, dinner parties, special occasions and gifts.

I think that you answered your own question. I was not aware that this "STUFF" has been relegated to the 99 cent store, but, if that is the case, I think it speaks for itself... I was VERY not happy with this item, but, to each his own. If you can find a use that you like, go with it. OR, allow your local Dollar Tree to deal with this mess.
