I made the Chocolate Cheesecake and it was adored by all. I put real whipped cream on top instead, however.

I haven't made this specific recipe but it looks fairly standard.

I have no idea why someone would put a whole tub of Cool Whip on top of a cheesecake, much less strawberry Cool Whip!

Why go to the trouble of making a home made cheesecake just to top it off with that much artificial topping?

I wouldn't even recommend a real whipped cream topping for a home made cheesecake. It's so distracting in flavor and texture.

If you want to cut the chocolatey-ness of the cheesecake, I suggest a dollop of regular Cool Whip or whipped cream on each slice and/or some fresh fruit. Raspberries and strawberries go well with chocolate, IMO.

Kraft Chocolate Cheesecake recipe

I'm thinking of making this recipe, "Our Best Chocolate Cheesecake" on the Kraft website, for a work function. I read the comments, some people said it was really rich, others said not to use the strawberry Cool Whip...

I was just wondering if any of you have made this and if you have any tips to share?
