i made it but with the exception of not making it with yellow cake.i made it with lemon cake.next time i will know what to do.never made a poke cake before.it still came out very lemony and moist.i LOVE lemons.ive made the lemon cookies in here.everyone raved about them too.

Luscious Lemon Poke Cake

I get the Kraft Foods calendar every year and for May they had this great cake. The link is below:

A few tips on this though. I've made it twice and it definitely more dense and flavorful if you leave the cake in the pans "marinating" in the lemon jello overnight. Also, I used an entire 12 ounce container of cool whip and really piled on the frosting.

Everyone raved and it is not on my list of "Most Favorite" party recipes.
