I have never made that one, but I do make the one that you use vanilla pudding(you can also use banana), cut up banans, cool whip and nilla wafers. You just prepare the pudding and then layer the wafers, pudding, bananas and cool whip and then keep repeating. I serve it in a trifle bowl and it is always a hit! Good luck!

Original Nilla Banana Pudding

Posted: Jan 20, 2008 1:09 PM
Can somebody help me? I made the Original Nilla Banana Pudding for the first time. The recipe was really easy. My custard was thick when I put the pudding in the oven but when it came out of the oven it was runny. What did I do wrong? I followed the recipe on the box to the letter. I wonder if I used too many bananas, although the recipe called for 3 1/2 cups, which I had. Any suggestions?
