Peanut butter cups are meant to be eaten alone so they may be appreciated!
Followed by a nice cold glass of milk.
Now I want one.

LOL! No.. I drink diet sodas, but not when indulging in peanut butter cups. Fake sugar plus real sugar equals bad taste in the mouth to me. I'm weird, I know.

Oh no! I hope it clears up soon. Hard enough being pregnant in the heat of summer, but with a bad back it must be uncomfortable.

No, not yet I had a little accident last Sunday night with a patio swing and geeked my back out. My sister thinks she may have time this weekend to make it for me though!

I have to ask, did you try it, and did it fill your chocolate/peanut butter craving?

Well, it looks like I didn't put it back into my binder after the last time I used it...grrr...I will keep looking! I know it involved heating the mixture until it formed balls in cold water (a weird step that always caused me problems) and just seemed overly complicated to me, LOL. The last few times I've had peanut butter fudge, it was made by someone else!! The recipes posted here seem WAAAY more simple

1/2 a cup cocoa. (I'll edit the first post, too, so it's all in one place.) It's very good with crunchy, too. Not much more than 15 minutes start to finish, tricky part is to keep stirring while it melts and watch it for the start of the boil.
I shared mine, now you share yours, and congratulations on the baby, hope everything goes well for you both.

How much cocoa powder?? I think I might try this with crunchy PB
Thanks everyone for your ideas!! My favorite recipe is one handed down by my grandmother and it requires a lot of work--it's well worth it, but I'm not up to it at this time, lol. We will see how many of these I can get made before the baby's born

My mom made this one.
1 lb powdered sugar (one box) 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons butter 4 tablespoons milk 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Heat all over medium heat, when it starts boiling around the edges remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Refrigerate until set (fills a 9x7 pan)
I use a lot of peanut butter, 1/2 a cup or so, scooped out with a large spoon. It's really to taste/texture.

Oh, have I got a great recipe for you! This is quick and very good! I made several different combos and all were so good. No one could believe how easy it was!
Miracle Fudge
12 oz baking chips 1 can frosting
Heat chips in microwave, just until melted. Stir in frosting until well blended and creamy. Pour into a buttered pan. Refrigerate until set.
Combo Ideas: Peanut Butter Chips/Chocolate or Vanilla Frosting Andes Mint Chips/Chocolate Frosting Vanilla Chips/Lemon or Strawberry Frosting Chocolate Chips/Coconut Pecan Frosting or Chocolate or Vanilla Frosting Cherry or Raspberry Chips/Chocolate Frosting
*You can also stir in chopped pecans, mini marshmallows, coconut, toffee bits, raisins, etc.
I crushed some Lemon Drop candies and added them to vanilla chips and lemon frosting.

I found this recipe online. It's PB&J, but COOKIES! If you try it, let us know how it is?
MICROWAVE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY COOKIE-WICHES
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 egg 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt Jam or jelly
Mix together butter, peanut butter, sugars, and egg. Blend in remaining ingredients except jelly. Cover and chill. Shape dough in small balls. Place 12 balls on baking sheet lined with waxed paper.
Cook in microwave oven for 1 1/2 minutes. Cookies should still be slightly moist. Let cookies cool a little before removing them from waxed paper. When cooled, sandwich cookies together with jelly or jam filling.
