You should know that you can also request from your supermarket manager that they order foods that you would like. Most are happy to accommodate. (At least the large chains like Acme or Superfresh.)

Whadda ya know? I was buying soup last night at my local ShopRite and I saw that they have Campbell's Cream of Shrimp soup on the shelf. So there could be a good chance you will be able to find it.

You probably can't. Cream of snail would be much easier to find and much cheaper, too.

Campbell's DOES make a cream of shrimp soup, but I've seen it only once, out in an Amish country store. Sure, cream of chicken should work, it will just have a different taste.

If by shudder you mean "in excitement," then I agree with you. This sounds super yummo!

The back issues of the magazine are archived on the web site. Do a search for "magazine" and it should link you to all the past issues. Hope this helps.

I am looking for a recipe from Food and Family about six months ago. It was a featured recipe. It has haddock, cream of shrimp and crakers. I can not find my magazine. If anyone has it that would be great. I can't find it online either. Please help wanted to make for my moms b-day.
