you can also bake them in the oven @ 350 for 2 1/2 hours then put them on the grill. it makes them realy tender, they almost fall off the bone. before you put them in the oven add your bbq sauce and seasoning and rap them in ten foil.
it works best on baby back ribs though. and if you dont want to grill them afet the over you dont have too. it just gives them that grill taste.

Wow...I have made country ribs before but mostly stay away because they always turned out tough and chewy. Not this time. I bought some boneless country ribs, seasoned them with a chicken and rib rub...smoke them on my smoker for about 30mins just to get the aroma. BTW the smoker is all that and a bag of chips. Then I mixed the barbque sauce and orange juice together and poured it over the ribs which I placed in a baking dish...they were in the oven at 350 for about 2hrs. The ribs came so tender and juicy. I will buy the country ribs from now on when they are on sale. The meat is so tender made pulled pork out of some for sandwiches....thanks again for posting a great recipe!

Adding the orange juice to the sauce sounds so intriging that I think I will go out and buy some ribs just so I can try this recipe. I am going to smoke them first for about 30min.first just to get the flavor then I will put them in the oven. Thanks for posting

The best yet!!! Mix a rub of cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, back pepper, and brown sugar. Mix to your liking. Rub the mixture generously all over the ribs. Put the ribs in foil and bake in the oven until tender. You can open the foil when the ribs are done, and generously douse with Kraft Brown sugar bar-b-que sauce. Leave the foil peeled back so the sauce can "brown" a little. These ribs will melt in your mouth; honest!! For the bar-b-que pit, we boil the ribs, rub with our magic rub, place on the pit, & use Kraft bar-b-que sauce. Awesome either way! Yum-yum!! Enjoy!

Hi,

I'm new, but I want you to know that I saw and tried this recipe for oven baked ribs yesterday. It was cold and rainy outside, and the ribs were absolutely delicious.

I'm not a big ribs fan, but I really liked these.

I use this rub for mine. It's a bit spicy. For milder, 1/2 all pepper spices:
1/2 cup salt
1/4 cup paprika
2 tbls black pepper
2 tbls white pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tbls granulated onion (or powder)
1 1/2 tbls granulated garlic (or powder)
2 tbls brown sugar
4 full racks pork spareribs

Combine all ingredients except spareribs in mixing bowl. Rub ingredients generously over ribs and place ribs in refrigerator overnight.

Line baking pans with aluminum foil and place ribs in lined pans. Tightly cover pans. Cook seasoned ribs at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hours or until you can poke your fingers through the meat.

Remove from oven and allow to cool. Cut ribs into individual portions and serve.

This is the best recipe ever for ribs!

Combine a bottle of Kraft BBQ sauce (any flavor) with 1 1 /2 cups of Orange Juice. Pour over ribs.

Cover pan and cook for 3 hours in the oven at 300 F.

Turn ribs after 3 hours, uncover, increase heat to 350 and bake another 40 min.

Let ribs rest 10 min before serving.

They will fall off the bone! The best!

Looking for a recipe that cooks ribs in the oven; no grilling - it's cold here in Wisconsin and too late for the crock pot.

Help!
