I love to pour a good olive oil, balsamic vinegar, adding coarsely ground pepper, kosher salt and a couple of cloves of minced garlic. Be sure to cover both sides of veggies and let marinate while heating grill. Your hands work well for this task! This is so good on yellow summer squash, zucchini, eggplant, onion halves or green onions, tomatoes halves and peppers.

We crush up some dry stuffing mix to dip them through and lightly fry them in olive oil.

As others have said, you can be as creative as you like with using whatever you have the urge for.

Sesame seeds sound good, I'll have to get some to try.

I love to grill veggies. What I use is a light brushing of olive oil and some dry spices. I grill anything from jalapeno's,eggplant, zucchini to portabelo mushrooms all the same way. So sweet and delicious!

You can use just about anything, even just dry seasonings. A bit of oil helps the seasonings to stick. One thing you have to watch is the sweetness of what you use. If there is too much sugar the veggies will tend to burn. I usually use olive oil that I have in a spray bottle plus whatever dry herbs that go with the meal. You could marinate them in a bit of sesame oil or sesame dressing or soy sauce and a bit of sesame oil. Any of those would be good.

You can use any salad dressing or marinade to grill veggies. One of my favorites is raspberry vinaigrette, but I have used an Asian sesame seed dressing before with chicken. I bet it would taste great with veggies too.

I'm looking for a grilled vegetable recipe, but I don't want to use Italian dressing. I once thought I saw a recipe with had a seseme oil or something. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
