I do chicken tacos. Take chicken breasts and dice them up into small pieces. Add them into a skillet w/ seasonings. Cook through. We really enjoy it.

A nice chicken enchilada bake, maybe? Or you could go cajun, that kind of food tastes great and is really home-friendly. Jambalaya, coconut crunch cake for dessert, your favorite cajun style chicken, and macaroni bake. LIttle chicken pot pies are easy and those age groups would eat it........but you could also make two plates of butternut squash chicken, put some risotto on the side, and see how that works out. French onion soup isn't hard either, so long as you can perfect the cheese on top. Spinach or portobello tortellini would be nice as well. And now, I'm officially really hungry.

The five year old may be especially easy to please when she is the one making her own food. My nearly 4 year old son, who used to eat anything I put in front of him, has started a picky phase. As soon as I realized the phase was here to stay for a while, I started having him help me make his food. The more he is allowed to do, the more excited he is about eating it.

try crescent roll hot dogs,

its super easy,
all you have to do is take hot dogs, and make a slice down the middle. you put in some pieces of kraft singles. then you wrap a pillsbury crescent roll around it, and bake it in the oven.

My kids are picky eaters also, espeically my 10 year old and 6 year old.

I like the moderator's suggestion about having the kids help plan the menu. That's what I do. I tell my kids that they cannot complain because they helpes choose, and they have to eat it because the will not get anything else.

I also get them involved in the cooking proccess, and at least with the 5 year old explain how following a recipe will create a dish.

Try hiding the vegetables in a dish by putting them through a blender and then mixing them in the main dish.

Food should be fun, so have fun with food. Make up silly names for your meals and sides. Take your chicken and fresh veggies for a dip in cheese sauce, pizza sauce, different condiments and dressings. Be creative.

Take a hot dog and turn it into a race car. Seve chili in bread bowls and call it a chili boat. Make up a theme or if a holiday is near, have the food themed for the holiday.

I cannot think of anything else rignt now.

We also have a no thank you bite rule in our house. OUr kids have to have a no thank you bite of everything even if they don't like it. AND even if I made the same thing yesterdsay. And I've seen results. My 10 year old now eats things he didn't use to like.

Hi, Hannah, and welcome to the Kraftfoods community.

There are a number of really good suggestions in this thread: http://kraft.liveworld.com/topic/Recipes-Tips/Choosy-Eater-Recipes/1700001614

There is a wide gap in ages, but getting the girls involved in helping choose and create the meals might help.

You can also try this area: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/dinner/mealsinminutes/Take5.aspx. The recipes take a small number of ingredients and time to fix.

Good luck!
