I slice a pork tenderloin in about 1-inch thick pieces and place them in a slow cooker. I sprinkle it with salt, pepper and a dry BBQ seasoning mix. Then I pour about 1/4 c. of BBQ sauce over it and cook it on low for about 8 hours. After the pork has cooked, it's created quite a bit of juice. I then take the pieces of pork out, pull them apart and pour some of the juice over it and then add more BBQ sauce. It turns out really good.

Now that sounds yummy. It would give the meat a real pit BBQ taste. Thanks.

Slow cook the meat in a slow cooker for 8 hours on low heat setting in a mixture of beer and water. After the 8 hous the meat will fall apart as you remove it from the water. Place on a disposible pan and mix in a favorite barbacue sauce. Grill the pan on indirect heat for 30 mins or untill a char on the top in forming.

Thaw your Loin and put it in a good marinade for up to 24 hrs. turn occasionally. If you have a Rotisserie put it in and set it for about 15 mins per pound. If you don't have one then heat your grill to med. heat and cook your loin on indirect heat until it reads 160 degrees. put it on direct heat for last 10 mins or so til it chars slightly. This for me comes out great. You want this to be slightly pink. As there may be leftovers that need additional cooking. It also makes a great cold sandwich that has been spread with a little Horseradish.

I don't know if anything could "ruin" a tenderloin, but I do agree about not putting them in a slow cooker. Too good of a piece of meat with many options. =)

If it's a TENDERloin, the last thing you'd want to do with it is put it in a crockpot. It'll ruin it.
That would be like making BBQ Beef from filet fignon.

I cook my pork in my slow cooker and I add a small can of chicken broth and let it cook for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Then I add my chouice of BBQ sauce to it ( I like Kraft Honey BBQ) . It tastes wonderful.. The chicken broth gives it a great flavor.

While in the past, we (husband or I) have slow-cooked a pork in the oven or smoked on the grill, now he almost always wants me to cook it in the slow cooker. I usually take two pork loins, with all visible fat removed, place them on a bed of chopped onions, add some red wine and cook on low until it pulls apart. Depending on your cooker, it may only take 4-5 hours. Then just pull the meat apart with two forks, add sauce and let it heat through.
Some people strongly disagree with cooking pork loins in the slow cooker, but they turn out fine as long as you don't leave them way too long. I'm sure pork roast would work just fine, too.

An easy solution (and something we do all the time) is to slow cook the roast in a crock pot for 7-10 hours. The meat will be so tender you can pull it with forks. Then add BBQ sauce, return to the crock pot to heat thoroughly and so the flavors blend.
Note: we usually use Montreal Steak Seasonings while cooking the roast for added flavor. We also cook the roast overnight, so it's ready to pull in the morning.
Good luck!

Kraft has a Pork on a Bun recipe that is made on the grill. There may be more but that is the first one that was grilled that came up when I did a search for "pulled pork."

I have a boneless pork roast or loin or something like it in my freezer...Im not really sure...but if I sliced it up, itd look like sliced pork chops..I want to make pork bbq...I dont have a smoker, but I vaguely remember a friend wrapping a similar piece of meat in foil and cooking on low on the grill...Can I do that with this and then pull it apart for bbq sandwiches...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
