I tried the Pork Chops with Apples and Stuffing recipe this past Saturday. It was definitely a different taste but my family loved it. They almost licked their plates clean =).
I did a few things different from the recipe, I listened to reviewers and seasoned the pork chops with S&P and olive oil searing it prior to baking them. I also had to cook the dish nearly 20 more minutes than asked for since one pork chop was being a pain. Lastly, I added two 21 oz. cans of apple filling in the bottom of the 13 x 9 pan.
Needless to say it was yummy and easy and I will be sure to make again.

I tried this recipe last week. I really liked it & my husband did too. I love pork, dressing & apples together. Great dish! Keep up the great recipes Kraft!

This is an awesome recipe. My family liked it so much with the apple pie filling, I don't think I'd try another flavor of pie filling. If you haven't already tried it, do it ASAP - it's one of the best I've made in awhile.

You're right.
I only use canned pudding with chicken and fish. Red meat is too heavy for it.

It would be better on red meats than it would on pork, I think.

Thanks for the review! It's nice to get personal opinions that taste tested it. =)

You could always try it with a few flavors and see what you like best. Pineapple goes with ham/pork, I can't see why peach wouldn't taste good, too.
