Please people, for the love of God, do NOT defile pork chops with canned pie filling.

That's just very, very wrong.

That recipe was in the recent Kraft magazine. I was wondering if you could use different pie fillings. Maybe pinapple?

I said we live on a farm. I didn't say we were farmers. We both have jobs but choose to live in the country.

Yummy. Hey, I work all day and anything fast and easy is ok with me. I live on a farm so I have more work when I get home from work. Weekends are for better homemade dinners when I have time to prepare everything.

You might also try adding a little more water or broth to the dressing beforehand and see if that helps.

The dressing was not dry at all. I guess all the steam from the fruit and chops kept it moist. I baked it uncovered.

So. . .how was it?

Was the dressing dried out? Did you cover the pan (with foil) while it was baking?

I've done a similar recipe and it seems the dressing is always dry.

Hey I'm new but I just found the easiest dinner ever and had to share. 3 ingredients. It's just my husband and myself but you can double it.

2 Pork Chops (season as you like)
1 box Stove top stuffing
1 can Apple pie filling

Pour can of pie filling in bottom of Pam sprayed 9 X 9 pan. Place seasoned pork chops on top of pie filling. Mix stuffing mix with water as directed on box. Wait 5 minutes and spoon over pork chops. Bake 40 minutes @ 350 or until meat is done.
***Cant wait to try it with chicken breasts and maybe peaches!!!
