I usually dip the chicken pieces in water then in plain flour. Then I dip the chicken in beaten eggs and a mixture of Bisquick (in place of flour), pepper, garlic powder, Lawry's seasoning salt and paprika. Then I either bake it in the oven or fry it in a skillet.

Cooking time depends on what types of pieces you are frying (wings and legs tend to get done faster as well as if you use boneless skinless chicken).

If baking in the oven, I usually coat the cookie sheet with cooking oil (1-2 tbsp) and then I spray the top of each piece with cooking spray.

Flour and seasoning salt? And he's still with you?

You are a lucky woman indeed.

Valentine's Day Fried Chicken

My boyfriend's favorite food is fried chicken and I wanted to make that for Valentine's Day. Is there any suggestions for something other than the traditional flour and seasoning salt coating?
