We had company over last night so we made a big chicken and/or beef taco bar. Everybody picked what they wanted and nobody went away hungry...
Tonight is pork chops and mashed potatoes with broccoli on the side

Spring is still in Hawaii on holiday. Daylight Savings Time starts in just a few weeks. That will force spring to to pay attention.
I sauteed a couple of chicken breasts with lemon and herbs. I tried some frozen potatoes (not great) and the last of the green beans from the garden. Just a really ordinary, uninspiring meal.

Turkey meatballs, brown rice, and green beans. Quick and easy after my son's jiujitsu class and a long day at work!

Last night was lentil soup w/ham that I pulled from the freezer. And panini sandwiches on bakery multigrain bread with turkey tenderloins, sauteed onion & red pepper and provolone cheese. Thanks for the well wishes regarding dad's back surgery, he's tough and doing quite good! Took some food over there - tuna casserole, chicken soup w/homemade noodles, and lots of fresh deli meats & cheeses.

I think I like breakfast for supper better than breakfast for breakfast.

Spag with garlic bread. I bought a loaf of the presliced bread from the bakery, I am going to use the other 1/2 for french toast tonight. I love having breakfast for supper, and honestly it can be fairly quick. And on church night, I need quick!

One pan meal last night, smoked sausage, onions, red potatoes, cabbage all cooked in stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Have a little left over for lunch today!

We had breakfast for dinner last night. Hubby has a tooth that's getting pulled so all foods are soft at this point.
Scrambled eggs, grits and biscuits worked out well

We did breakfast for dinner and had french toast. I made a bunch extra so they can have it for breakfast, or as a snack, for a few days.
