Thanks to someone mentioning it on another thread and stirring up a craving for it, I had sausage gravy and biscuits last night. Well, a little bit of sausage gravy and half a biscuit, anyhow.
That's one of my "danger" foods - I could eat that stuff all day and that will NOT help my weight loss any lol
Tonight will be a salad with some grilled chicken.

I know! I have seen enough snow here as well. We actually got 64.6 inches in December, I think thats a new record or something.
Heart Attack Potatoes 8 med. potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 c. mayo 2 c. velvetta 1/2 c. sour cream 1 small onion diced 1 jar real bacon bits (or you can do your own) salt & pepper to taste
Boil potatoes for 10 mins. Drain. (I usually put the potatoes into a casserole dish at this point) Mix in remaining ingredients. Stir well. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
I usually make this one for big family dinners. I do five lbs. of potatoes, and adjust the recipe accordingly. It ends up being a ton of potatoes, cheese, and bacon. SOOO BAD, and yet SOO GOOD. You can use Miracle Whip instead of mayo (I like that extra zip better) and it still bakes up just fine. I actually don't think I've ever "followed" this recipe, just used it as a sort of guide-line.
As for dinner.. Home made pizza with diced ham and veggies. (Still trying to think of creative ways to use the left over Xmas ham).

ROFLOL - It was cold here too. I think I woke up to 4 below. It's all relative, isn't it?
Last night was venison steak, gravy, noodles & green peas.

It was my husband's birthday. My sister-in-law cooked is favorite dinner of paella, salad and artisan bread, with coconut pie for dessert.
I get off easy. Next week is her birthday and she always wants brunch.

I am! Thanks!
Tonight for dinner I split a pork chop with my son and then we had a heaping helping of green beans drizzled in olive oil with cracked black pepper and sea salt. I love those three things as seasoning on.. pretty much everything lol.

Grilled hamburgers with all the fixings and chips.
Having finger foods at church tonight. I found some mint chocolate chip cookies in the frig section at the grocery, and thought they sounded yummy.

I actually love that movie. I read the books (all of them) and didn't really like Meyer's take on vampires at first, but then they sort of grew on me lol
Last night I had half a grilled cheese sandwich. I wasn't very hungry and was feeling a little under the weather.

I took a bunch of 12 year old girls to see Twilight, the guys turned the lights off, cranked up the surround sound, and watched Death Race. Pretty much it was sandwiches and popcorn.
