Last night I tried to eat BBQ RoastBeef Poboys using Kraft Thick N Spicy Original BBQ Sauce.
I have been eating the Thick N Spicy Original BBQ for years. I bought 7 bottles last night and I noticed that the shelf was full which is strange because it's always empty. I just thought they must have gotten a new stock so I picked up some.
I went and bought 2lbs of roast beef to make poboys. I opened the bottle and the smell hit me and I knew something was wrong. I went ahead and fixed my food and after that first taste I almost threw-up. The horrible taste hit me and for the rest of the night I couldn't get the taste out my mouth. Everyone that was waiting for the food didn't like it either they tried it and said it was to strong and left a bad after taste.
My question is why would you change something that has been perfect for so many years. I called my parents and told them and now we will not be buying this product anymore until it is corrected. Better Tasting NO!
When you fix this please let me know. Who ever said the new one is better is lying to you and costing you money. Don't fix what isn't broken, put the old one back on the shelf and make a new flavor if you want but don't take away my BBQ Sauce Please!!

since I made that big turkey dinner on Sunday we'll be enjoying it for a bit
last night I made (with leftover turkey, of course) a Creamy Turkey Noodle casserole
I also picked off all the turkey meat and threw the carcas into my slow cooker, covered with water and some onions, celery & carrots to make up a broth
so tonight we're having Turkey Noodle soup and I've got extra broth on hand in the freezer now

Tonight I had a veggie burger with veggie bacon. Yeah.. won't be doing the veggie bacon ever again - but the burger was awesome!

Was craving Italian & came up with a quick chicken parm dish. It turned out really well! The recipe is below (I estimated the seasoning amounts - that's one thing I never measure).
* 1 pkg 8 count frozen breaded chicken patties * 1 jar (26 oz) pasta sauce * 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes * 1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese * 8 oz spaghetti * 1 tsp Italian seasoning * 1/2 tsp garlic powder * pinch red pepper flakes
Set oven to 400 degrees. Combine pasta sauce, tomatoes & seasoning in a medium bowl. Brown chicken patties in a little oil. In a 8x8 dish pour 1/2 cup sauce on the bottom top with 4 chicken patties another 1/2 cup sauce and 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining patties & 1/2 cup sauce. Cover with foil and bake until heated through - about 25 minutes. While the chicken is baking, cook pasta according to package instructions. Heat remaining sauce in a sauce pan to serve over spaghetti. In the last minute of baking remove foil & top with remaining cheese. Serve with spaghetti and sauce.

It seems to be spaghetti night for a lot of us lately! Today I am slow cooking a chuck roast with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and a sauce of crm of mushroom, french onion soup and rosemary. In my new oven, I will bake a loaf of french bread. It's going to be very cold tonight so this will be great.
