No. I'm not single. I am however unempolyed and since my wife still works I feel it's only fair that I do the cooking and cleaning. Besides she says that thats in the small print of our marriage vows. I've never seen the small print but I'll take her word for it. Thanks for the reply.

Last night I cooked up a big pot of beef stew. Easy to do.
I used cubed steak instead of stewing beef. It's more tender and has a better flavor.
What you need: 1 lb. cubed steak cut into bite size pieces.
4 good size russet potatoes cut into bite
size pieces
1 lg. onion cut into eights
2 stalks of celery cut into bite size pieces
1 small bag of baby carrots
2 cans of beef broth
2 cups of water
1 tbl. spoon of fresh ground black pepper
salt to taste.
Directions: In a 6 qt. pot, braise beef until brown. About 3 min.
Add water and both cans of beef broth. cook about 10 min. on med heat before adding other items.
Add remaining items, bring to a hard boil then reduce the heat to a low simmer.
Cook for about 1 hr.
Serve with cornbread slathered with butter and man you got a meal.

Sunday night we just had burgers and fries.

Last night we had pork ribs in crock pot with homeade bbqu sauce, baked taters, corn, and cinnamon rolls.

Tonight will be chicken alfredo and garlic bread....haven't had this in a long time and can't wait for my house to smell like garlic:)

This has to be one of my all time favorite meals on the planet! I make the little baby Lesure (sp?) peas. Dip the potatoes into the peas and the a bite of meatloaf. So good.

Last night was spaghetti and meatballs, homemade and garlic bread.

Tonight will be leftover pulled chicken (from all my chicken boiling this weekend) with gravy and rice. My kids LOVE anything with gravy and rice and again, I'll make rice pudding for the kids in the morning.

lol. They're just SO easy to eat. Little single bites of deliciousness. Maybe you can make some and freeze them and then hide them in the back of the freezer to pull out for yourself now and then :D

Ok sky I need your help here. I'm getting ready to make my hidden stash ;) Luckily for me my children aren't old enough to cook yet or this would do me no good. So I know to freeze them individually before putting together in a bag but I'm not sure how to cook them, I always cook as soon as I make. My cooking method is to first brown in oil a minute or two then add water and steam covered 2-3 minutes until translucent. How do I modify the cooking process for frozen? Just longer cook time? Do the potstickers turn out just as good???

Saturday: we were out of town, so we ate @ Denny's

Sunday: Spaghetti, garlic bread & a salad

Monday: Marinated (thin) pork chops cooked under the broiler, birds eye 'lightly sauced' potatoes (pretty good) and broccoli cheese noodles

tonight: will be quick & easy, busy afternoon ahead of me :)

Tonight I had a taco lasagna. My cousin made it. It three layers of tortilla shells, taco seasoned beef, nacho cheese, and topped with salsa (though I didn't have the salsa bit - see mention of texture in another thread lol). You can get something similar in a boxed form that you just add meat to (which is actually REALLY good), but I like hers that she makes from scratch just as much if not more.

I'm trying to make room in the freezer for hoped for venison, so we grilled a couple of small steaks that were there and I added a vegetable salad. At husband's specific request, I fried the last of the okra and a couple of green tomatoes that were destined to never ripen because of the cool weather. It is a good thing that I hate the way frying makes my kitchen smell, because it sure was good.

Our family did the bbq chicken wings and rice. Not a bad combo. It worked and results were ok. ;\
