We took advantage of a break in the cold-windy weather and grilled some salmon and zucchini. I also tried boxed wild and brown rice mix. It was too salty, but a change. Today another cold front hits, so I'm making chili or maybe taco salad.
Yanno what they say.... Nothing blocks the northers down from Canada and across the plains but barbed wire. Brrrrr!

Made Tator Tot casserole for the 1st time. My family loved it. We had green peas on the side. It is not very often that I try something new that all the kids agree on. So this was nice!

prissy168, Here is the recipe for them: I used 8 drumsticks for this, the medium size ones. 1/2 Cup Teriyaki Marinade Sauce 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce 1/4 Cup Honey 2 1/2 pounds Chicken Drumsticks 1 Green onion, thinly sliced (optional)
Combine first 3 ingredients; pour over chicken in large plastic food storage bag, press air out of bag, close top securely. Turm bag over several time to coat all pieces well. Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight, turning bag over occasionally or marinade in an air tight container.
Bake chicken in 350 degree oven for 1 hour turning them after a half hour and basting with pan juices once or cook longer until not pink inside. Sprinkle on green onion before serving.
Enjoy!
I use an air tight container and marinade them for a good 5 hours and turn them in that.

Last night I made Honey-Glazed Chinese Chicken Drum Sticks with Teriyaki rice and corn.
