Hello Kraft Community, we are very excited to share some great news with you. As loyal Kraft Community members we have heard your desire to do more fun things in the community and we are happy to announce in January 2010 we will be making some changes so you can connect and share food ideas in more ways than ever!
We want to let you know we will not be transferring the existing discussions to the new enhanced message boards so if there are discussions that you would like to save please make sure to either print them or copy and paste into a document that you can save to your personal files.
We will remind you again before the transition occurs but wanted to let you in on the exciting news!!

We worked on cleaning up leftovers mixed in with grilled cheese/tomato sandwiches.

Last night I made Hot & Sweet chicken with baked potato and a salad. The chicken is super easy with just around 5 ingredients, those are my favorite kind of recipes! Apricot preserves, ketchup, teriyaki sauce, hot sauce & garlic. It turned plain chicken into something special.

Yesterday was a crazy, hectic day for us...school is back in session so between that, softball practice, pitching lessons I had no time for cooking so I picked up a rotiserie chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy and creamed corn...for tonight I've got beef round steak going in the slow cooker

Last night was Chicken Enchilidas and Dirty Rice. Very tasty and tonight will be Goulash.

Last night was a quickie meal of mushroom, cheese and egg omelet with some toast. I spent the rest of the evening canning tomatoes.
I am soooo ready for the garden to be done. I will be happy in December but right now I'm really sick of it.

This past weekend was old home day in the area, lots of camping, cooking, and my MIL's 75th birthday. I'm still eating leftover lobster. =D

Well, first day back to the university and you'd think, me having classes that end at 7pm, that's I'd not have time to make much of anything - but I have a secret weapon: my cousin.
She's watching my son for the two hours between his preschool ending and me getting home from classes and she offered to make dinner each night as long as I supply the ingredients - and she's an awesome cook.
Tonight we had penne pasta in a marina sauce, with small Italian sausage meatballs and a veggie medley on the side.

Yesterday we went to check out a nearby state park that has recently reopened. We took the canoe and paddled around a bit and grilled hamburgers. It was a wonderful day to be out. The weather was perfect.
Last night I just fixed a salad since we had eaten a pretty heavy mid-day meal.

Hubby had some of the guys over last night after their fishing tournament so I had brats simmering away in the slow cooker all day in beer, beef broth, lots of onions & garlic, then I threw them on the grill just before serving...served with sides of fries, salad & jalapeno poppers
The night before was grilled (marinated) pork chops, rice & grilled veggies...

The little guy asked for "spicy rice" so we had Cajun dirty rice and sausage!

Last night I headed up to our camper by myself and on the way stopped at Subway and stuck my sub in the cooler to eat there(here now).
Tonight, dh came and grilled steaks and picked up coleslaw and potato salad....not exactly healthy but "camping time" is comming to and end quickly
Good luck, Vanessa, in the upcomming school year...you sound like a dedicated educator and schools need more of you.
