Want to send your guys over to rototill our mud? We've already recorded the wettest May since 1882 and it's only the 13th.
Last night was grilled chicken thighs, brown rice and zucchini. Not very exciting.
Tonight is pasta with shrimp and a salad. A bit better

We grilled a couple of small steaks from the freezer. I pre-cooked some new potatoes a bit then halved them and roasted them in the oven with some squash, mushrooms and asparagus. I spritz the veggies with some olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. If you cook the potatoes first, everything gets nice and brown at the same time.
We have lettuce and greens in the garden, but it's been raining so much, the lettuce tastes a bit drowned.

Another grill out, but this time there was some BBQ (ribs and chicken). Tried a bit of both and soooo yummy.

Everyone was scattered today so I got pizza and they could heat up when they wandered through.

My sister had a cookout, the usual fare... hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, veggies, etc. I sampled a little of most of it. Okay, maybe I had more than one hot dog (without the bun), but I love grilled hot dogs. Lovelovelove.

I took a cooking class four or five years ago and they taught us to make this sauce. You can now buy it, but it's basically a cross between a Marinara sauce and a cream sauce with a little alcohol for a kick.
I had public knitting last night so DH had leftovers. When I got home last night he was cleaning a catfish. He said when he went out to the pond to feed them, he just stuck his dip net in the water and scooped the fish up.

I'm jealous you have garden things coming in already, prissy!
Spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread for us tonight.
