Oh prissy, that sounds absolutely delicious! I'm so jealous!
I had green beans, rice, indulged in some fried potatoes, and had some lasagna last night at my sister's house.
She's one person you will NEVER find here asking "what side goes with this?" She just makes whatever sounds good to her at the moment and her dinners always turn out delicious.

Hi everyone - it's been more than a week since I've (b)logged on!!! LOL
Wed. nite - homemade mac & cheese, tossed salad, peas&carrots, Ital. bread. Last nite - beef stew, cottage cheese, Ital. bread, fresh pineapple and strawberries w/choc. fudge sauce drizzle.
My college son is coming home today for a 1 week break and I can't wait to see him! After his 8+ hour drive I'm treating him to a favorite dinner.
Tonite - oven roasted chicken(s) stuffed with herbs, lemon and oranges, homemade egg noodles with browned onion butter, corn, tossed salad, french bread. For dessert, yellow cake with homemade vanilla bean frosting.

I fixed up a batch of goulash and homemade "Everyday Rolls." It was a huge hit with my kiddos.
That chicken recipe with the white wine sounds delish. That may be on the menu this weekend.

Veggie Delights are the best (and they are cheap )
Last night I made a new recipe (tweeked it a bit) and it was awesome!!! Here is my version. 1) Four boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved; season with Lawerys and Lemon Pepper, set aside. 2) Mix 1 can Cream of Celery; 3/4 cup white wine; pepper; and 1 cloved minced garlic. 3) Pour in 9x13 pan. Place chicken in wine mixture; flipping to coat both sides. Top chicken with a slice of American Cheese. 4)Bake 1 hour at 325. I covered it with tin foil removing it the last 10 min. 5) Meanwhile, boil 1 pkg (8 oz) of Angel Hair Pasta; drain. 6) Remove chicken from pan, stir sauce well, add 1/2 cup half and half. Add pasta and mix well. 7) Place a helping of the pasta on a plate and top with the chicken.

After errands but before knitting, I stopped at Subway and got me a Veggie Delight. I just love that sandwich. DH was stuck at home with leftovers.

I needed something quick and easy to make with chicken tenders. So I decided to recreate a favorite sandwich into a dinner meal. I made chicken-bacon-ranch pasta. It was YUMMY! I used turkey pepperoni slices in place of bacon, and crisped them in a non-stick skillet. I removed them for crumbling into garnish later, and cooked the frozen tenders with the caramelizing onion, in the same skillet. The pasta was cooking while I cut up the chicken and mixed up an envelope of our favorite ranch dressing. Then everything went into a big bowl, tossed, and served with salad. Big hit with the family

I broiled up a large bunch of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Kept the kids, extras and all, stuffed and happy.

LOL I'm eating that as I type! Have been looking for the Morning Star but may have to wait until I head "to the city" as I'm in a small mid-west town and there isn't much call for vegetarian products .
Tueday night had pumpkin soup with a homemade spiced croutons. Last night was egg sandwiches. Tonight something with boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Just wanted to let you know the "garlic flavored oil" can be achieved by heating your oil in a pan and putting a crushed garlic clove in the oil for a few minutes. Take the clove out, and you have garlic infused oil.
....thanks to Racheal Ray! LOL

Pulled pork (made in the slow cooker), sugar snap peas and roasted sweet potatoes. Tonight is my knitting night so there are enough leftovers for DH to easily fix himself a plate. I am soooooo ready for a garden.
