I'm a member of SparkPeople and I really like they're recipe section because it's healthy and has a great and interesting recipe collection.

All of my cookbooks are still in storage (I have a giant bookshelf full of them), so I rely on the web a lot to get recipes.
This is usually the first place I look for recipes, simply because I can get easy, delicious and usually healthy meals here.
I also like that recipes for the week thing that Yahoo posts on Monday.
Eatingwell.com, Foodtv.com and recipezaar are some of my favorites.

I don't really have a favorite cooking web site because it depends on what I want to cook:
I go to the pioneerwoman.com if I want decidely unhealthy, meaty dishes. I go to Kraft if I want to make something with a Kraft product. I go to Food Network if I want to make something I saw on a show there. Etc.
And when I want to try something new, I pull out a stack of my cookbooks and start flipping through pages until a picture catches my eye.

I'm with you. I love to just browse around when I have free time. I love to look at all the variations, just like I love it when the members post all of their variations on a recipe. It's all good, but I just wish it didn't make me so hungry.

I love the fact that to "google" is now a recognized verb and that we are all "googling" for recipes whether we use Google or not.

I have good luck with google. No, it's not a specific website, but I've always found what I'm looking for no matter what sort of odd ingredients I want to use.

As far as recipes I will actually cook, I always come here first. But for inspiration I go to tastespotting.com It is like food for your eyes!! And since they link to different food sites/blogs, you are seeing the best of the best!

I search here on Kraft, and also use foodtv, but if I can not find what I am looking for, I too, just google and see what comes up.
I like the recipes here because they are usually simple to follow and require foods that my family will eat, while some of the shows on foodtv are just not foods my family will eat. But Paula Dean, and Rachel Ray are my favs.

My all time favorite site is allrecipes.com I can find just about anything on that site. They often have 2-3 versions of most recipes and most have ratings that are very helpful. I have used this site for many years.

Hi, Mike and welcome to the Kraftfoods community. Since I'm around here a lot, I start my search here with my main ingredient(s). If I can't find what I want, the results will often give me search terms I can google to look at alternatives. I guess I'm pretty bad about following recipes. I'll often read three or four variations on a dish and either print out one and make changes based on other variations or just make the dish from memory from what I've read.
The sites that were mentioned earlier tend to be the ones that show up the most.

I use allrecipes.com and recipezaar.com. I can usually find exactly what I am looking for between those two websites. Sherrie

Welcome to the Message Boards, Mike.
I have the search page at cooks.com bookmarked. I can usually find a recipe for anything I need there. The recipes tend to be more "home style" rather than gourmet - I use epicurious.com for ideas for more elegant recipes.

Often I use www.foodtv.com for reference for recipe's. I was curious what other websites you recommended. I just found a new website entitled www.easyfoodandwine.com. Although it doesn't have many recipes I tried the recipe for crabcakes and LOVED it! Any others you recommend?
Thanks for your info:
Mike
