This sounds good. So few ingredients too, which is a plus. I like Blue Cheese Dressing on the burger after it is cooked. Mmmmm.

Ground turkey is very lean, which is why it's better for you, but lean ground meat can be dry. Try adding some egg whites to the ground meat, to give it a bit of moisture while helping hold the patties together.
One positive aspect of the leanness of ground turkey, is that it makes great chili and pasta sauce, because there is far less grease.

Those are some great recipes everyone!! I personally enjoy turkey burger immensely. I wanted to post this recipe from the Safeway Summer site. This is a little different from most recipes, so hope you all enjoy this
Turkey Pot Sticker Burgers
* 1 cup fresh white bread crumbs (see notes) * 1 O Organics™ Large Egg, beaten to blend * 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions * 2 tablespoons Safeway ® SELECT™ Gourmet Club Soy Sauce * 1 tablespoon minced or pressed garlic * 1 tablespoon minced or grated ginger * 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey (not extra-lean) * 4 large potato or whole-wheat hamburger buns, split horizontally and toasted (see notes) For garnish: red leaf lettuce leaves, hoisin sauce or Chinese mustard, and plum sauce or traditional ketchup
Notes: To keep these burgers tender, handle them as little as possible. To make the bread crumbs, whirl 2 pieces of firm-textured white bread in a food processor or blender until fine crumbs form. To toast buns, lay cut side down on grill beside burgers for 1 to 2 minutes.
1. In a bowl, combine bread crumbs, egg, green onions, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Add turkey and gently mix with a fork just until ingredients are evenly blended.
2. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions. With your hands, shape each portion into a 3/4-inch-thick patty. If making ahead, lay patties side by side on a plate, cover airtight, and chill up to 24 hours.
3. Prepare barbecue grill and preheat for direct-heat cooking (the charcoal or gas flame is directly under the food). For charcoal grill: Before you put the grill over the hot coals, brush grill with a generous coat of oil. For gas grill: When hot, brush grill with a generous coat of oil.
4. Lay patties on well-oiled grill over a solid bed of medium coals or medium heat on a gas grill (you can hold your hand just above grill level only 3 to 4 seconds). Keep charcoal grill uncovered; close lid on gas grill. Cook 5 minutes, then turn burgers with a wide spatula. Continue to cook cooking until meat is opaque in center (cut to test), 5 to 6 minutes longer.
5. Transfer burgers to buns and garnish to taste.

I agree. The panade is very important. Soaking your bread or breadcrumbs in milk, egg and chopped parsley won't hurt is proper. The seasoning is secondary. The method is PRIMARY.

These all sound yummy! I have a recipe of my own to add:
1/2 lb ground meat 2 Tblsp. dried whole wheat bread crumbs 4 Tblsp. minced onion 4 Tblsp. pizza or spaghetti sauce 1/2 Tsp. Mrs. Dash garlic & herb flavor salt & pepper
Mix well and form into 2 patties. Cook 8 minutes on each side. The meat will be slightly pink from the tomato but fully cooked. They are so moist!

I mix 1 lb of ground turkey with 1/4 to 1/2 packet dry ranch dressing mix (however strong you want it-you can tell by the smell once you have it all mixed). I mix up a few tablespoons each of low-fat mayo and sour cream with more ranch mix, cayenne pepper, black pepper and garlic powder (to taste) to make an awesome dressing for the burgers. I use kaiser buns, cheddar or pepperjack cheese, tomato, onion, avacado and romaine. These are really refreshing and taste like summer.

I've had the same problem with my Dad but I did actually trick him into eating ground turkey and he loved it. All I did was take some reduced sodium bouillion cubes, grind them in mortar and pestle and pour over meat mixture and different spices before cooking. Gives the taste of beef with less of undesirable aspects of pure beef. He never even knew the difference until I told him...

My family has just started eating these, but we love them! I recently went to our local grocery store and bought some ground turkey meat. I formed them into patties and put them on the side. In a medium sized skillet I added extra virgin olive oil (just about 2 tablespoons), then added little minced garlic and my patties. I put a little salt and pepper on them for taste. The oil keeps them from getting too dry. Cook them on each side for about 8 mins. I then put them on a bun with mayo, garlic pickle slice, Romaine lettuce leaf, and ketchup for my kids. They all ate happily that evening!

It's dry b/c you have no moisture. There is a particular method when it comes to burgers / meatloaves.
You need a binder, which is eggs, very important.
You need to make a panade to start. You can use breadcrumbs for your panande, but, why? Cube up a couple slices of going stale bread for a proper panade.
Some soy sauce and sesame oil won't hurt either, along with franks red hot, and diced REAL spanish onion.

The best turkey burger was created by my husband and our grill. Turkey meat tends to dry out so we always season and seal 2 hours before grilling. Our ingredients:
1pd Ground Turkey 1/4 cup of Worch. Sauce 1tbl of Mrs. Dash garlic & onion 1 dash of Lawry's Seasoning Salt 1 dash of ground pepper 1/4 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
Mix all ingredients in large bowl and place top on bowl and let sit for one to two hours. Uncover and shape into burger patties and place on well heated grill. After grilling on both sides for seven minutes each, place on foil and cover to maintain heat. Serve on seasoned hamburger buns with cheese and your favorite condiments. Enjoy from the Jones'

Welcome to the Kraftfoods community, brooke_1996. I agree, onion soup in any kind of burger makes it tasty.
