I don't get the cream chesse either. I make a lot of stir frys and this is like a recipie I have for Chinese fried rice with shrimp. I don't think that I'd like cream chesse in it, tho. It is not necessary and only adds calories and fat.

The kream cheese makes it extra Krafty. If you didn't add it, then you would only be using one Kraft-made item to prepare your meal (Minute rice), and THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Okay, this looks good. It looks like shrimp, rice, and broccoli. I don't get the part about the creamcheese. Why do we put creamcheese in this recipe? It seems weird. Not as weird as Jello molds, but strange and unnecessary, nontheless. Does anyone else find this odd?

Can't wait to here how it was, Lottie! BAcon and cheese are a super yummy combo! Sounds pretty fancy-dancy with the rice too. Yumm!

If you have sealegs in your pantry, those are an ideal substitute for shrimp.

Since today is Tuesday, I'll be making cheeze rice and shrimp. Except I don't have Shrimp on hand, so I'll substitute bacon instead. I'll let you know how it goes.
