Welcome to the community kwiffie and jr307.
Looks like kwiffie found what you were looking for. With as little sugar that is in it I bet you could make it with a substitute.

Here is the recipe!
DINAH SHORE"S RICE PUDDING
1/2 cup regular rice 1 cup slightly salted water 1 cup whole milk 1/4 butter 3 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup raisins (or desired amount) 1/2 tsp vanilla 3 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp cinnamon
Slowly pour rice into rapidly boiling water in large pot. DO NOT STIR. Cover tightly and cook exactly 7 minutes, at which time all the water will be absorbed and rice will be slightly undone. Add the milk and butter; stir a ilttle. Bring to boil, cover and cook slowly over a low flame for 1 hour. Meanwhile, beat eggs, add 1/2 cup sugar, raisins and vanilla. Pour the mixture into the rice, stirring slowly until the rice starts to thicken. Serve hot, warm or cold with a mixture of cinnamon and remaining sugar sprinkled lightly and evenly over the top.

I am looking for a recipe called Dinah Shore's rice pudding. It was for a large amount but could be cut down. It was cooked on the top of the stove. I am sure artificial sugar could be substituted for the real sugar it called for.

I have a recipe with Nuts, Cream Ch. Lime jello,whip cream , celery and apples if this sounds like it; I'll input the recipe. Don't have the time right now! Let me know!

The Creamy Fruited Lime Salad has Jello, cottage cheese, cream cheese and nuts in it, among other things. Could this be it?

My friends and I used to make a recipe with lime jell-o, sour cream or cream cheese and some kind of nuts. Does this ring a bell with anyone? It might have been in two layers. I was telling some co-workers how good it was and I just want to make it for them. Thanks.

I tried googling your mint pie and found the following recipe, is that what you were thinking?
1 pre-baked pie crust 1 3/4 cups milk 1 (3 1/2 ounce) package chocolate pudding mix, mix (NOT-instant but "cook & serve" variety) 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract 5-6 drops green food coloring (Optional) 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed Andes mints candies, unwrapped and chopped
Whisk together milk and pudding mix in a saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and bubbles; reduce heat to low; add chocolate chips and stir until melted; pour into baked pie crust and place pie in refrigerator while you do the next step. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, peppermint extract and food coloring for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fluffy; gently fold in whipped topping; spread over the chocolate mixture in pie crust; refrigerate 2-3 hours or until firm.

Last year I made a mint pie and a pumpkin pie for my families Thanksgiving meal. Both pies were loved and now I would like to make those pies again for a luncheon at a church function this Sunday, Oct. 19, but I cannot find my recipes anywhere. I believe I found the recipes in the coupon sections of my Sunday newspaper. The pumpkin pie used butterscotch pudding, canned pumpkin pie mix & I think evaporated milk, with a ginger snap crust. The mint pie used andes mints, & maybe cool whip & pudding & a graham cracker crust. If anyone has these recipes I would love to have them again. Thanks batb1977
