The Holiday '09 issue of food&family began arriving in homes on October 26th. We ask that you please wait 10-14 days to receive it. If at that time you have not received your Holiday '09 magazine, please send us an email by clicking here or call us at 1-800-521-4403, and we will be more than happy to assist you. If you have subscribed recently, it could take between 8-10 weeks for delivery. The food & family magazine has been part of so many of our loyal consumers lives that we didn’t want to have to stop printing it. The nominal fee helps us continue the printed edition as well as enhance the great recipe and food ideas you’ve come to love from us. There are also other wonderful ways to enjoy the magazine content and more - we have a Recipes-By-Email program, www.kraftfoods.com, and the online edition of Food & Family magazine too – all for free.

We can pass these requests along, but contacting Customer Service with them as well is always the best way to go about sharing suggestions with Kraft.
Great requests, by the way... thanks for the input!

I, too, prefer print, mainly because I enjoy getting mail and can't take my computer into the kitchen.
That said, I've been a bit disappointed by the recent magazines because they seem to have less original content. I'll order a subscription, but is there any way to make some requests?
Here's what I'd like to see in a paid subscription:
1. More good coupons. The one for $1 off a DiGiorno Ultimate Toppings pizza was a good coupon.
2. More slow-cooker recipes, especially soups and stews. I've read that the slow cooker is more eco-friendly than the stove or oven.
3. Fewer suggestions to buy a DiGiorno pizza as a quick supper. Mainly, this is because I have diabetic family members and can't always afford my favorite pizza.
4. More useful advice, such as kitchen math, making perfect mashed potatoes, using seasonal produce, and selecting meats for a particular purpose. I do like the Q & A's here on the site and would like something like that back in the magazine.
That said, I do enjoy sharing the magazine with loved ones; these are just suggestions. Many thanks, Kraft, for good food and good memories.

I have received this magazine free since it's inception--and I love it. I don't mind one bit paying for the subscription now--as it always has such great recipes that I USE!! I am giving this subscription to all of my daughter-in-laws for Christmas this year, because they are always borrowing mine. I like the option that I can go online for free, but it is so great to look at all the pictures, and have the recipes handy. They are so timely too, for what I want to prepare for the season. Thank you Kraft for all you do for us. rhg

If you have already paid for your subscription and received another notice to pay, please just disregard it. We apologize for the confusion but due to the timing of our lists, consumers who have already paid may receive an additional notice.

I too got the summer '09" magazine along with a "Last Issue Subscription" bill for $5.99 and I had already paid for one year around 3/20/2009, I need to know whether or not am I still going to get my Magazines or did I just loose my $5.99, because I am not going to pay for it again.

I'm glad you like it!! I too love print.. there's not really anything like the feel of the actual magazine in your hands. Plus if you like to hand-write your recipes in your own cookbook, you can cut the pictures out and paste them next to the recipes. Like a little kitchen scrapbook!

Just received my "Summer '09" Food & Family Magazine, and wanted to let you know how much I enjoy my subscription to this publication. Although I thoroughly enjoy the online version of "Food & Family", I still look forward to receiving the actual magazine in the mail. I take my time browsing through the articles, and taking note of which recipes I want to try first (usually a very tough decision). The magazine is interesting, informative, and an absolute pleasure to read; and the photography is fantastic (all the recipes look so appealing and appetizing).

You're best bet is to call customer service and make sure you're on the transfer list. All customers are being changed over in stages so you should be getting an invoice soon, but it can't hurt to double check.
Yes, still four issues a year, and I'm not sure on it it's going to be larger or not. (From what others have said that have gotten an issue it looks the same.)

So, is it still going to be only 4 issues a year? Are they going to be bigger magazines now? I have been getting this for years, I never got a notification that it was now going to cost. Will I still get it and get a bill or do I have to re-sign up for it?

The print edition of food & family Magazine is no longer a free subscription. The regular subscription rate is $11.98/year.
If you would like to subscribe, go to www.kraftfoods.com/join
The online edition of the magazine is freely accessible as are the archives.
Hope this helps.

Some how or another I have been getting some food & family magazines in the last year and didn't subscribe to them and I haven't had to pay for them. A friend of mine was wanting me to see if I could get these magazines coming to her and I can't find where I even filled out to get these magazines for free. Does anyone know if you can get these free anymore or if you have to subscribe to them now? Thanks, Evonna
