The Holiday '09 issue of food&family began arriving in homes on October 26th. We ask that you please wait 10-14 days to receive it. If at that time you have not received your Holiday '09 magazine, please send us an email by clicking here or call us at 1-800-521-4403, and we will be more than happy to assist you. If you have subscribed recently, it could take between 8-10 weeks for delivery. The food & family magazine has been part of so many of our loyal consumers lives that we didn’t want to have to stop printing it. The nominal fee helps us continue the printed edition as well as enhance the great recipe and food ideas you’ve come to love from us. There are also other wonderful ways to enjoy the magazine content and more - we have a Recipes-By-Email program, www.kraftfoods.com, and the online edition of Food & Family magazine too – all for free.

I keep my update current, but my address has changed and they no longer ask you for your address so they are phasing out the free subscriptions.

After years of getting this recipe book free, I got my first invoice last week. I will not be paying to get this magazine. As many have stated its really just a magazine with repeat idea's and don't forget the pretty pictures! Oh well, I will just go to Kraft online when I need a kraft idea!

If I was going to spend this kind of money for a recipe magazine, it would be for Southern Living. A monthly magazine, much larger, many more recipes, not a giant ad for macaroni & cheese, & new recipes, not the same ones again & again. Much cheaper per issue than this overpriced advertisement.
I have received the Kraft magazine for years & kept them all. I now see repeats again & again. They were good recipes, but I won't pay to see them, especially over & over.
There are 1000's of free recipes online. If I want a new recipe that is not mac 'n cheese, I just google my main ingredients til I find something I like. FREE!

And in return for your money, Kraft will send you a huge ad for their products (cleverly disguised as a recipe magazine!) a few times a year.
Does that sound like a bargain? Because I'm not seeing the bargain here.

How can you charge for what is nothing more than an advertisement for Kraft products? As a free magazine, I liked looking at the ideas for using your products in the recipes, but upon receipt of my issue today including the invoice, I promptly tore the invoice in half and threw it in the trash. I don't know how the idea of paying for a bound advertisement for Kraft came to be, but I will not be doing so.

And I wouldn't pay for the subscription either if future magazines are going to follow suit of the Fall '09 Edition, especially after paging through and every other page was an ad for macaroni and cheese or D'Giorno pizza. There is even 2 whole pages devoted to giving the recipe of how to make Kraft macaroni & cheese! C'mon people, it's on the box! I used to be a huge advocate for this magazine, and I hope that now that people are required to pay for it that it will go back to actually providing recipes that are unique and helpful top people.

I've received Food and Family for many years now. I ended up paying for my subscription several months ago after getting a bill in the mail. I received the summer edition in May. Then a week and a half ago, I received another copy with a collection of favorite Food and Family recipes... Guess I am getting my free and paid versions. The second copy went to good use, however; I gave it to my neighbor!

Because we have such a large consumer base and offering subscriptions is new to us we needed to provide this offer to consumers in a phased approach. Our current plan is to provide everyone the offer to pay for their subscription.
