Been getting this cookbook/advertising bundle for several years. Now it's going to cost money?

Gotta say, the timing stinks. I'm looking to cut expenses, not to add new ones. Why is it that large multinational corporations like Kraft can't even pretend to be connected to their consumers?

I think I'll think twice before choosing Kraft products at the store.

The printed version will cost you. But it states that the online version will still be free.

I have gotten this magazine for years "FREE"!!! Now they want us to buy it?!?, Really Kraft, the fact that we buy your product should be enough, shouldn't it??? I'am very disappointed, I got the holiday issue and it had a notice that it would be my last issue unless I bought the subscription!. I'am debating!! I love the magazine and use it more then any cook book that I have, but buy it?!?.

I too got some recipes from my Mom. She is not Italian, but married one, so she had to teach herself how to cook italian food. She did an awesome job! When I was in college, I asked her to write down her tomato sauce and meatball recipes for me. I still have that sheet of paper 20 years later and I still use it! She also has a really old cookbook that the cover is falling off of, that I hope I can have someday.

I received the magazines for quite a while but I have not received any for a while now...maybe a year or more? Is there somewhere I can sign up again? I am a member of this website.

There were a few things my mom made like that; she had a progressive disease, and before it got real bad I sat down with her to get the recipes written down. Now I can make those recipes, and have the fond memories of the laughs over writing them down. =)

Like just about everyone else, I have an old cookbook I got as a wedding present and it will fall open to certain pages which have distinct smudges on them. :)

My mother didn't use recipes very often and the cookbooks she had stayed with my stepfather when she passed away, but she had real cooking panache and was always willing to experiment. I wish she had written some of them down, but she never did.

It makes it easy to spot the ones my mother used often when we were growing up. Heh.

I save mine loose leaf, too. When my mom passed away I got the cookbook she got as a gift when she got married 50 years ago, it has notes in it, papers, all sorts of things. There's something about holding it, probably with bits of recipes having been dripped on it, that is part of my enjoyment of cooking.
