My slow cooker is oblong and I tried the slow-cooker lasagna on page 32 of Fall 09 issue for dinner this evening and let me tell you, it was simply delicious. I was quite impressed with myself as my husband is the cook. I cook on weekends when I do not have to work, (something good does not always happen)!! With this dish, no worries!!! You can serve a crowd or have leftovers for yourselves. Try it. It will be better than you expected!!

If you slow cooker is oblong, you should be able to accommodate the ingredients. If it is one of the really small ones (2.5 quarts or so), you might have a problem.

Farmer bubbled your question up to see if we can get a definitive answer.

Welcome to the community sunnysavannah. =)

I looked up the recipe and couldn't find a size listed anywhere, either. The ingredients look like you'd need a large one. I'll send this up the line to see if there is a recommended size.

For those of you who have made the slow cooker lasagna on page 32 of the fall 2009 issue, what size cooker did you use? I have 3 different sizes/shapes.
