This one is one of the quickest to run out at our parties. Get a bunch of little smokies and some bacon. Take the bacon out of the package and cut entire chunk into thirds. (So one peice of bacon becomes 3). Wrap around little smokies. Place on cookie sheet. (I usually put tinfoil on mine because they make a mess.) Sprinkle with brown sugar. Pop in a 300 degree oven until sugar is melty and bacon is done. Pop on a tray and serve!

You can use toothpicks to hold together while baking, they also make a nice 'handle.' Oh! DON'T buy the cheesy smokies! I did one year on accident and they tasted kind of funky.

I am not a fan of REAL hot peppers, but this is delicious for all taste buds:
Peblano peppers, as large as you can find. (You can always use Cubanelle/Italian fryers. If you do, they will not be hot at all, so add cayenne to the stuffing) Remove the top and stem, and clean out seeds and veins. Microwave them, covered, 4 @ a time on 60/bake, for 45 seconds. You want them sightly softened and microwave them 5 more seconds at a time until they are. Cool them. Stuff with a premade and cooled mixture of browned ground meat(I use turkey), rice, garlic in any form you like, little salt and pepper. and small dices of colby or cheddar. Place in disposable tin pan, rubbed with a little olive oil OR sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle the tops with cornmeal(even a little corn muffin m ix if you have a box). Bake covered @ 325 in pre-heated oven, for 25 minutes, and then uncover, and cook for 5. I serve with mini corn muffins

Serve with forks and this over the top:
Heat a jar cheese sauce. When warm, mix in 4oz. pack cream cheese. Thin slightly with 1-2 tblsp. milk, or evap. milk, or buttermilk. Spoon some across each pepper and top with some cayenne.

Here's an easy one for you:

Marinate 2 pork tenderloins overnight in a jar of honey-garlic sauce/marinade.
The next day pat dry and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool, cover and refridgerate.
For a dip:
Mix together 1 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup honey mustard, 1/4 cup spicy mustard and 1 teaspoon ginger powder.

Slice chilled pork into 1/4 inch thin slices. Arrange on a platter with the dip.
Very tasty!

LOL. To add to what Eemma said, You can open your recipes in separate tabs or copy the URLs one at a time, but keep the post you're writing open.

I try to remember to leave my URL's visible if they are off-site so you can actually see where you are going. One safety tip -- if you hover your mouse over a URL, the URL will appear at the very bottom of your browser and that can also give you an indication where the link will take you. Always err on the side of safety.

I usually write my post first. I use my mouse to highlight the url address I want to link to and copy it, then I use use my mouse to highlight the words I want to attach the link to, use the "url tag" button, "allow scripted windows" (if I need to - because after allowing scripted windows it usually works for the rest of the post), click the "url tag" button and put the url address into the box and enter it. It can be done as many times as you need in a post.

Those are really good but a pain IMO to make so I always suggest them for somebody else to make and bring B-).

I've posted this (as well as a couple other people) and it is always a hit:
Hot Wing Dip
2-3 pounds cooked chicken, shredded; mix with 16 oz Chicken Wing Sauce (I use Franks, Texas Pete, or Cookies Wings-n-Things). Pour into bottom of greased 9x13 pan. Mix together 8 oz cream cheese and 16 oz bottle ranch dressing. Spread over chicken mixture. Top with 2 cups shredded Montery Jack (or Colby). Bake at 350 for 30 min or until hot, bubbly and cheese is melted. OR instead of layering you can mix it together and bake that way.

Have you thought about checking out "Cinco de Mayo" recipes? Usually they are easy to pull together and will fit with your theme.

I love Corn bread with Mexican food. You could add drained corn or some chopped jalapeno to the batter...

Quickie Quesadillas sound good and so does Mexican Nacho Popcorn and Easy Tex-Mex Wings

One of easiest and favorite dips is cream cheese chili dip.

80z cream cheese softened
1 can no beans hormel chili
Microwave until cream cheese is melted
Add some mexican style cheese and stir in until melted
Serve with tortilla chips.

A Mexican Food theme is a wonderful idea for your Super Bowl party! The following recipe is always a huge hit with my party guests!

Easy, Elegant 5 Layer Dip

Ingredients:
• 12 oz. container Santa Barbara Bay Chili Con Queso
• 1-2 cups grated cheese
• 1 can diced tomatoes
• Sour cream
• Guacamole
• Green onion
• Sliced black olives
• Tortilla chips

Directions:
1. Layer first five ingredients in a clear glass dish.
2. Top off with more grated cheese to cover top.
3. Garnish with olives and green onions.
4. Serve with fresh tortilla chips

Another simple and tasty idea is to gather your favorite mild or sweet peppers (Anaheim, Cubanelles, Banana Peppers) in various colors, slice them lengthwise and remove the seeds. Then stuff each pepper with your favorite store-bought refrigerated dip, and enjoy. Hope these recipes help for your Super Bowl fiesta!

We'll probably be having about 15-20 people over.

Thanks for the great ideas!
