Oh! Good catch.. I didn't even notice that. I was assuming she meant the pork (ergo the BBQ recipes lol).

A boston butt and a rump roast are two different things.

There is no such thing as a boston butt rump roast.

A "boston butt" is a term for pork shoulder. You make pulled prk with it.

A "rump roast" is a term for a beef roast which comes from the rear end of the cow. You make pot roast with it.

There are a few recipes for that in the Kraft Recipe center.

I really love that cut as shredded BBQ. It's SO good and you can make it in the crock pot.

Hello Peytonsmom10,

I don't eat alot of pork due to my cholesterol, but when I do cook a Boston Butt Rump Roast every once in a blue moon this is how I prepare it:

Vanessa's Boston Butt Rump Roast

1frozen rump roast
1env. brown gravy mix
2-1/2 c. water
1pkg. onion soup mix
Garlic power to taste

Place frozen rump roast with all other ingredients in pan. Cover and bake for 8 hours at 275 degrees. Easy and the roast is very tender and yummy.
