That is great! I'm glad you two are doing well. I knew it was about time for you to have had her, but didn't want to say anything in case I was completely wrong and you weren't the pregnant Alton Brown I was thinking of. :D

CONGRATS ST. B!!!!! Haven't been around a lot myself lately and was wondering if you had the baby yet. Glad to hear that baby girl is doing well. Is there anything better than snuggling a baby :-x Wish you and your family the very best of health this winter :)

Aww, baby st.b! Congrats on the new addition, and once that cold is over kiss her for all of us. (Babies smell good! Most of the time.)

I refer most of my clients to the CalorieKing web site (www.calorieking.com). It is very easy to use, and the updated site even allows you to track your intake, etc... They also have a pocket handbook that you can purchase that contains much of the same material.
The calorieking site (as well as another useful site- www.calorie-count.com) also has good info for restaurant foods, which is nice. If, however, you're having trouble finding info for a basic item (such as generic hamburger meat, etc..) you can go directly to the USDA data site (where is the source for all the other reference material/sites). It can be found at http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
That site, though very comprehensive is great- but definitely not very user friendly.
Good luck.

Welcome to the Kraftfoods community, cbdunning. There is a carb and calorie counter, as well as other tools for healthy living, under the Healthy Living tab. Here is a link to the carb counter: http://healthylivingtools.kraftfoods.com/content?page=614&cat=0&menu=FiberAndCarbCounter

I'm looking for information on the carb and calorie value of the foods I eat. I have a very old book, but know there is info out there on the web, I would just like someone to tell me where is the best place to look.
