I made some kind of lemon freezer pie that was a recipe in one of the magazines. It was really good.

To all those who resoponded to the Lemonade inquiry< I thank you greatly. For Lemonade cake do not mix the Lemonade with water-use the lemonade as part of the sugar or just add to cake mix- Atleast one scoop full. For the dishwasher use baking soda or vinegar to freshen. Would not want the lemonade in there. my plumber would have a fit. Have come up with several recipes that work wonderfully. Will be able to share them at a later date. Thank you again

What would you rub it on?
I always just mixed it with vodka and drank it, but I'm willing to learn new tricks!

I use lemonade to marinate chicken breasts all the time. It gives grilled lemon chicken a whole new twist.
You could also use it as rub.

Maybe you could make the liquid lemonade, and marinate some seafood in it. Scallops might be nice.

It would not leave the dishwasher sticky at all as long as you ran the shortest wash/rinse cycle. No need to waste water nor energy. The SHORTEST cycle w/no dry. Just THEE most basic wash you can muster. And, Sorry "just me cd", this is SOO off topic... meant no harm....

I just recently saw a recipe using exactly this to flavor something... I BELIEVE it might have been a frozen pudding (??) pie... Let me check my files... I'll be back... In the meantime, I have been told, NEVER actually tried this myself, that powdered lemonade works really well for getting the "funky" smells out of your dishwasher. Fill up the detergent bin with the powder and run the washer empty, SUPPOSED to freshen it right up. I can't vouch for this but I have been told that people swear by it....

I haven't tried it, but how bout this for thought, use a white cake mix and for the water, use a double , or for a cake, maybe even triple strength pink lemonade in it's place and coolwhip for icing, hmmmm, I think I'm gonna try, that never thought about that before, thanks for gittin' the gears grindin'!

I do. There are lot's of creative things you can do. Just the other night I mixed some of the powder into storebought canned frosting for a fast and easy lemon curd. I ate it with vanilla wafers and it was a hit with everyone who tried some.
