I heard somewhere that drinking jello water helps with arthritis..I guess it would be like the knox gelatin we used to drink mixed with OJ for strong nails. Im wondering if it the same as that Joint Juice?

I have a friend that gets those, I'm going to let her know this works for you. Thanks for the tip!

When I used to work in the hospital, this was on some of our clear liquid diets listed as "jello water".

How about putting those crispy pork rinds into the jello and eating it like Chinese soup.

Every time I move my son's bed around in his room for some deep cleaning, I get a reminder that the jello didn't work to settle his stomach! About 6 years now and many professional cleanings later, the red stains are still there on the carpet (it was only 4 months old @ the time). :_| Fortunately, the bed could be placed over the offending spot!

But. . . I'm glad to hear that jello works for others - warm or cold!:-D

Warm jello was a super comfort when we were sick as kids. It was such a simple idea but it worked. I mostly remember drinking strawberry jello b/c that was my favorite, my brother always wanted orange.

Of course, as an adult I find that jello shots made with vodka are a good "comfort food" ;)

It is kinda like kool aid in a way as long as you don't put too much ice in it and jel it too much.

It is surprising how soothing it is after you have been sick and everything else seems too strong on your stomach :)

and especially great when little ones don't want to try solid foods after being sick its like Kool Aid with something more too it to give them strength and energy back.

you can freeze it into popcicles too

Drinking it warm sounds strange and unsettling to me, sorry.

Jell-O is one of the mainstays for patients just recovering from surgery or illnesses that make it difficult to eat. Drinking it warm does sound soothing.

I used hot jello to encourage my granddaughter to drink liquids when she's sick and it works. We make a game out of it, using her china tea set, (the cup holds 2 oz.) she drinks one cup about every 15 min. It dose taste good and is soothing. i mix it just as the recipe calls.

Welcome to the Message Boards!

When I was young even our doctor advised using Jello warm for children that had trouble keeping anything in their tummies. I haven't thought of it in years....

You can also eat pork rinds for all three meals, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Anytime we have been sick or not feeling well and hadn't ate much for a day or so , the PEACH Jello warm and over a couple of cubes of ice to drink is really easy on a tummy plus it gives you some food value,

We have done this ever since I was a little child and after little ones have been sick and can't eat solids works good

My favorite is Peach and the strawberry is next sometimes if you have had an upset stomach the strawberry seems a little strong so Peach is definately preference/

Have you ever tried cold jello? I bet that would be good.
