Val ~ I'll post the recipe for you tomorrow, it was a bit of a comglomeration of a bunch of recipes based on what I've eaten before at restuarants. I haven't made it yet, so maybe you could offer critiques!
Thanks for the ideas, I can't wait to have my first Asian night.
I haven't searched anything yet. I find I like to try personal recipes before random, online recipes, just because I like the personal touch and the added experience that a 'real' cook has to offer. 'You know you're always getting a good meal if theres a great story/chef behind it! =)

I love stir fry, especially when the garden is going gangbusters, but I love this recipe for any time of the year: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/beef-vegetable-noodle-bowl-107321.aspx
Also this one: http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/beef-vegetable-noodle-bowl-107321.aspx
It's really easy and you can substitute or add all kinds of vegetables to either.

I make a quick and easy pork lo mein all the time - I've also done it with beef strips & beef flavored ramen
Pork Lo Mein 3-4 thin pork chops, cut into strips (marinate the pork in teriyaki sauce & garlic for a few hours) 2 packages Chicken flavored ramen noodles 1 green pepper, cut into strips 1 onion, cut into strips 3 cups water Teriyaki sauce
Begin cooking the ramen noodles in 3 cups water...in another pan sauté the pork, peppers & onions until cooked...add to the sauté pan the ramen noodles (water too) and ramen seasoning packets, stir in some teriyaki sauce (appx. a tablespoon or so) Serve hot!!

Have you tried a recipe search here on the site? I put in the work "Asian" and got 193 results -- including three videos. There were two results for "lo mien."
I make a Thai curry that is really easy if you would like the recipe for it just let me know.

Hi all!
My hubby and I really love to eat out at Chinese places. I'm looking for recipes I can make at home. I'm not experienced at all as far as asian cuisine goes, but I'd love to start! I love the fried rice recipe that was posted on another thread, and I have a great hot and sour soup recipe. Any other ideas?
I'd especially like to learn how to make Pepper Chicken and Low Mein.
